A KID WAS WALKING around the city, his head full of questions and his amazement never falters.

He was only walking around when he bumped into a girl; landing on the concrete sidewalk with his bum.

He looked up, embarrassment filling up his senses as his face flared a bright shade of red.

"I'm sorry!" he scrambled up to bow quickly.

The girl could only stare at his bright purple hair and sharp gaze.

"I need to pay rent, food, college and medications." you sighed out while counting everything you need to work for.

You were an orphan, the orphanage talked to you about not being able to afford for a teenager (almost a young adult). So you left the building with no burden, knowing that other kids need the money more.

You yelped when something bumped into you and fell onto the ground.

You stared at him as he stammered, flushed face and a shy gaze. He was wearing a rather fancy set of clothes, you wondered where he came from.

"Are you alright?" you politely asked and scanned him for any injuries.

"Yes!" he blurted out.

You nodded and shifted your weight to another leg, "Where did you come from? Someone might rob you off, or hurt you because you're wearing something fancy."

He shook his head, "I can take care of myself."

You furrowed your brows, "That won't do. Where are your parents? Any guardians?"

"I don't... My brothers doesn't know I'm here. My older brother doesn't really like the idea of me visiting this world."

Visiting this world?

He widened his eyes, catching what he had said and looked at you, terrified.

You glanced away, "Assuming the clothes you're wearing, it doesn't seem like you are from here."

Studying the badge from his chest, he squirmed under your look; he was afraid, nervous, but also embarrassed from giving himself away too easily.

"Okay," you nodded and held out your hand, "What's your name? I'm [name]."

He was hesitant in taking your hand, but the smile on your face, those calm eyes that stared right at him was too pure. Something that would come right out of a mother.

Maybe it was because he needed a mother figure. Levi has a great judgement in characters, especially humans. For him, humans are an open book, a game that he loved to play.

"Levi." he admitted shyly with a small pout while looking away.

The both of you were walking around eating ice cream. You wondered how you would get him home, the city is never safe at night.
