37: Can Igbo and Hausa be lovers?

There is one story about each tribes in Nigeria. Yoruba tribe are dirty, igbo are money hungry, Hausa are local, luxurious or unassertive.
  But when it comes to the matter of the heart there is no segregation or preferences.
  Simone is caught in this, an encounter with Emeka has left her conscious of love.

"Maybe I should just give in to this" Simone thought. Simone picked up her phone and began to chat up Emeka.

"Do you want to hang out"

"Sure"

"Where should we meet" Emeka asked

"Rita Lori" Simone responded.

"Very well then see you soon" Emeka responded.

Simone stood to her feet as she walked over admiring her merchandise a actually picked one of it. "Celia please help me iron this dress and scent it with any Arabian fragrance. And also please watch the shop when I am gone.

Simone removed 100k from her bag and gave it to her workers that stood as cashier for her own merchandise to pay for the dress she took.

She removed extra 50k and gave it to Celia. "When the boys return take them to the restaurant close by to eat.

"Ok ma" Celia replied. Simone then stepped into her office to properly apply her makeup when she saw a message on her phone.

" How are you and how is my baby" . Simone was triggered as she instantly deleted the message.

"Alex, what does he want"

Simone's heart raced as she deleted the message from Alex, leaving her feeling a mixture of emotions. The sudden intrusion of her past into her present moment with Emeka stirred up memories and uncertainty.

As she applied her makeup in the office, Simone couldn't help but think about Alex and the history they shared. Her mind wandered back to a time when things were different, and the mention of "my baby" in Alex's message brought forth a rush of complicated feelings.

She arrived at Rita Lori where Emeka was already sitting waiting for her. As she stepped to meet him the constant echo of Alex's thoughts rang in her head.

"I hope you are ok" Emeka asked her as he came up to her. Simone's response masked the turmoil within her, her mind still grappling with the unexpected intrusion of Alex's message. Despite her efforts to push aside the lingering thoughts of her past, they continued to linger like shadows in the corners of her mind.

As she sat with Emeka, trying to focus on the present moment, Simone found herself wrestling with conflicting emotions. She wanted to fully embrace this budding relationship with Emeka, but the unresolved feelings stirred up by Alex's message threatened to cast a shadow over their time together.
