Y/N POV
For a few days after that incident life went on normally and uneventfully. I still had a month before my work started so i made myself a routine of exercise, healthy food, novels, music, shopping for my necessities, and relaxation.
Every once in a while the mysterious man would find his way into my thoughts and i'd catch myself smiling but i would shake it off and go for a walk at a park nearby my apartment. Currently i was doing one of those mind clearing walks when i ran into a girl about 17 or 18....because she was still wearing her school uniform i guessed she must be around that age. She seemed to be hiding from someone so, me being the kind soul i am, decided to help her out and dragged her to the bench that is hidden by the trees.
"Is everyone always running from someone in korea?" i sigh exasperated.
"Thanks about that" she said with a sigh.
"Are you alright? What's your name? Why were you running like that?" i ask her worried.
"I am fine and i was running from girls that won't stop pestering about my eldest brother." she sighed again.
"He must be something if it causes you so much trouble" i laugh
"Hey don't laugh it's such a pain but i love my brother so i deal with it" she giggles adorably.
" You must be close with your brother huh?" i sigh as a pinch of sadness touches my heart but i brush it aside and ask her.
" So what's your name?"
"I am Kim Eon Jin. Nice to meet you. Now that I think about it....you're so pretty eonni" she says excited.
"Well aren't you just a bundle of joy?!" I say giggling.
"Nice to meet you too. I am Y/F/N and my korean name is Lee Y/N. I live in the apartment right across from here and i moved not too long ago." I say.
We stay there together for sometime have some ice-cream and bond . She tells me that she lives in the neighbourhood with her family....which essentially is her mom, dad, eldest brother who she obviously admires and loves a lot, her second elder brother whom also she loves a lot and herself ...the youngest. She tells me how both her brothers moved out...one for college and one for work and how she misses them both.
The glint of happiness in her eyes when she talks about her family makes me slightly jealous and the hint of sadness when she talks about missing her brothers makes me sympathize with her so i offer her to drop by my place whenever she feels like it and we exchange numbers before parting ways. I reach home and fall back into my everyday life.
After two weeks
It has been two weeks since i met Eon Jin and to say that she is a happy virus is an understatement.She is a hardworking student and is very dedicated. She spends most of her time studying. She has even asked for my help multiple times and i feel like i have gained an amazing friend and sister in the last two weeks.
Apparently she will start college next month and has a lot of free time for now. So she is trying to learn different languages and cultures. Today i asked her if she wanted to have dinner together but she said that she had a family reunion so i let her go.
I was in the store buying grocerries when i noticed a lady around the same age as my mother carrying a lot of bags. Although she looked young and healthy I couldn't help but ask her if she needed help.
"Hello aunty. Can i help you? It must be heavy to carry all those bags by yourself." i approach her.
"Oh no young lady. Thank you so much but i couldn't trouble you like that." she says.
"It's no trouble aunty i live around here and you're like my mother so i couldn't let you carry all these alone." i say
She is finally convinced and lets me help her.
On the way to her house i ask her,"If you don't mind me asking aunty, why were you carrying all this stuff alone. Do your family not help you for your monthly shopping?"
She smiles kindly and says," My family do help me dear...today is just a special occassion.Both my sons are coming home for dinner. They barely have time but come to visit me whenever they have time. My youngest will also start university next month and become busy. I just wanted to feed them properly when they do come back home. I know that they are barely eating otherwise. So i wanted to make a full course dinner with all their favourites and fruits.That is why i have all this stuff with me.Actually they were supposed to come two weeks ago but something happened with my eldest so we had to cancel it." she says with a gentle motherely tone that makes me slightly envious of her children.
"Oh look we're here. Thank you young lady. You are very pretty and kind.I don't think i have seen you near here before.Are you new?" she asks me as i help her to open her houses gate.
"Ah yes....I moved in the house one block away from here around two weeks ago. My name is Lee Y/N." i say smiling.
"Oh do you not have family in korea then?"she asks surprised.
"No aunty. I live alone and i don't know many people since i just moved here." i reply.
"You poor soul. Why don't you come in and stay for dinner with us?It's the least i can do to thank you." she says
"Oh no aunty. I don't want to interfere in your family re-"
"Y/N eonni?!" a voice interupts from behind me .
I turn around i have a squealing EonJin jump towards me.I catch her just in time and return her hug.
"You know her JIN-ah?" aunty asks surprised..
"Ofcourse mom. She's that sister from the park I keep telling you about." she exclaims.
I watch as realization crosses her mom's face and she says" You're family after how you helped my daughter. Now you must join us for dinner." she insists.
Missing having food with a table full of people i comply and say okay. I enter their house with an excited EonJin hanging on my arms as we help her mom carry all the stuff into the kitchen.
I am wearing a light peach top with a v-neck and bell sleeves with two net stripes across the bottom of the sleeves. the front of the top is tucked into my gray skinny jeans. I ask EonJin if i look alright for the dinner and she replies with a "You're always pretty eonni" which makes me roll my eyes. EonJin gets a text from her brothers and she tells her mom that they'll be arriving in an hour because apparently the eldest got off work faster and wanted to spend more time at home and would pick up the younger brother before time. This piece of news sends her mom into overdrive as she starts freaking out about how she'll manage to finish all the work in just an hour.
So me and EonJin decide to help her.
She asks EonJin to cut the fruits since she doesn't know how to cook. I ask her to do the remaining work around the house while i cook. She resists at first but i eventually manage to convince her. So she instructs about all the ingredients and tells me what she wants to have made for dinner.
Despite her long list i manage to finish cooking dinner in an hour thanking my culinary teacher who taught me korean cusine for being extra strict.
I arrange the food in different dishes so that it can easily be served during dinner. I then go find EonJin and aunty arranging the fruits in different bowls in the living room. I help them with that and ask aunty to taste the dinner. After she tastes the dinner she praises me for it and i blush not used to being praised and loved like that.
As i start telling them more about my self the bell rings and Eon Jin rushes to the door.
She walks in with an old man around 48 years old who i guess is her father. She introduces me to him and he shakes my hand gently with a fatherly smile.
After about another 10 minutes aunty asks EonJin and me to go buy some strawberries as she forgot to bring those for her eldest son.
At the store EonJin gets a text from her dad asking us to hurry home since her brother had arrived. So we pick a fresh box of strawberries and hurry back.
At the houses gate EonJin is super excited and keeps telling me that how happy she is to see her brother.
As soon as the door opens EonJin lunges at the boy that opened the door. I giggle at her silly antics but just as i am about to say something i look up at her brother and freeze ....it's him.
"YOU?! YOU'RE THAT HAT PERSON!" we both exclaim at the same time.

Taehyung POV
In the last two weeks i haven't been able to get that strange girl out of my mind. I even told my mother about her when i was explaining to her why i couldn't come that night.
I am finally going to see my family today after so many months. Although i love my fans and my hyungs and jungkook and jiminie, I still miss my family a lot.
As soon as i got home i found out that one of EonJin's friend would also be here with us today and that EonJin had gone to the store with her. Just hearing my mother talk about her with so much happiness had already made me curious. My younger brother JeonGyu... kept rolling his eyes at my mom's silliness.Dad just laughed it off but we all loved her too much to say anything.
The bell rang and i opened the door only to have EonJin lunge at me like some monkey.I barely caught her when the most melodious sound in the whole world fell into my ears. I looked up and froze completely.
There she was the fairy from that night. Looking like some creature straight from heaven. My mouth spoke on it's own before i could even process what had happened.
"YOU?!YOU'RE THAT HAT PERSON!" we both exclaimed
