REVELATIONS

Y/N POV
Slap. My hand feels the sting as it strikes against brother's cheek. Taehyung stands there open mouthed looking at me.
"Great. A slap is good enough I guess...but ouch that hurt." my brother laughs while checking his lips. I look at him confused.
"Don't worry. I was just checking if you had it in you to fight back." he smiles.
"What are-" I am cut off by brother.
"So taehyung-shii. How old are you?" he asks with a threatening undertone.
" I am 24 years old si-hyung." He was totally going to say sir just now.
"And how much do you earn in-."
"HEY!Stop interrogating him." I yell at my brother hitting him on his arm.
"What was it you wanted to say in the first place." I ask.
" How about all of your friends gather at your house tommorow for dinner and I'll tell you there. I'm going to my horel first." he kisses my cheeks and goes away.
As soon as he is out of the room I pounce on tae.
"I missed you"I say nuzzling into him.
"Is it just me or have you become clingier than before?" tae laughs.
"Shut up" I sigh.
He pulls away from me and sniffs the air.
"Do you smell that?"
"Smell what?"
"That.." He keeps sniffing and then turns to me and sniffs my head.
"It's coming from your head." he points.
"I washed my hair this morning though."
"No. It's the smell of food."
"What?!"
"So tell me what's cooking in that pretty little head of yours" he says making me laugh.
"Haha. Now tell me what's bothering you."
"No... it's nothing."
He holds my elbow and pulls me towards him. He places a finger under my chin and lifts it up making me look into his eyes .
"I want the truth Y/N"
I sigh.
"No... I was just thinking. You're so good so pure and perfect and I have so many demons. I don't even deserve to be with you." I sigh looking down.
"Look at me baby." he says making me look at him.
"I will only say this once so listen carefully.
No one and I mean NO ONE is allowed to make the woman I love feel like she is less than everything to me. Not even the woman I love. Is that clear?"
"Crystal... clear." I whisper hugging him.

The next day.
We arranged for a dinner and my brother helped me.
Eonjin and the girls will be here any minute now and the boys will take 15 minutes maximum. Liam and John have already arrived and are running errands.
The doorbell rings.
"I'll get it"I say and rush to the door.
"Y/N" I have 4 squealing girls and one  Lisa that is annoyed as hell from the noise enter the room.
In the next hour the whole room is packed with all my friends and there are jokes and insults being thrown around. I tell them that I am going to start dinner and go to the kitchen.
"You finally look happy with the people around you sis. You've made good friends"brother says as he enter the kitchen.
"I did, didn't I?" I reply smiling as I look at the group of people I could die for.
"Dinners ready." I shout .
After dinner.
All of us sit in the lounge area forming a circle.
"Alright everyone. I need you all to listen very carefully to what I am going to tell you now." my brother says.

"Y/N you've always been curious about why I distanced myself from you right? So listen now. When I was 15 I was with the best people of my life. I had found the love of my life and started discovering what I wanted. I started growing a backbone and finally picked up enough courage to talk back to father. Sound familiar? It's the same as you right now Y/N. But I was naive. Our parents love control and when they started to lose their hold on me they did the unthinkable. They threatened the lives of everyone around me. One way or the other they ruined everyone Y/N. My girlfriend the love of my life was beaten and abused and used in ways that no woman should ever be. They did that to her infront of my eyes. She killed herself Y/N. I lost everyone and I broke. I knew if I kept you near me he'd break you too and you Y/N, you were always different. He was never able to control you. You had what it took to fight and I saw that. That night I didn't know Jackson would make a move on you. I had planned to protect you from afar because I knew that you'd leave that hellhole if I pushed you enough but when I found out what he was upto I found your roomate and send her there. What do you think Y/N ? How do you think your barely ever there roomate decide to be there at that exact moment? " he says.

Realization dawns on me while tears threaten to spill from my eyes.

"Why did you never talk to me about all  this oppa?" I ask him choking my words out.
"You're my baby sister Y/N. It's my life goal to make sure that you live as happily and as carefree as possible. It's my responsibility to protect you from the hurt and I am already doing a bad job at it. How could I dump my weights on you." He sighs
"Oppa..." I whisper.

"After that I made a deal with dad. We agreed that he'd leave you alone if I became his lap dog. Since then I have been on the insides of dad's business watching his every move. I became his most trusted person and I found out exactly what he had done to my friends.
He's planning to do the same again Y/N with all of you and the only way you'll live through it is if all of you develop blind trust on each other and share everything. I know you'll try to hide stuff to protect each other but the moment you start keeping secrets father will use that chance to tear you apart and he'll start with you two Y/N and tae because no bond is easier to tear than the bond of true love. It may sound as bullshit but it's true. When you truly love someone you're ready to die for them to keep them safe. You'll agree to leave each other silently if threatened with the other. That is exactly why both of you in fact all of you will have to promise to not keep secrets. All 15 of you have to know exactly what is going on in all 15 of your heads. Only if you do that will you survive what dad throws at you." He says.

There is absolute silence in the room.

"Don't worry Y/N. Let that old geezer try. We'll rip him to shreds if he steps in between us." Jisso and jennie say together.
"That's right. We didn't spend ours sharpening our claws just for show you know." Rose says flexing her nails making everyone laugh.
Amidst the laughter I look at tae and then my brothers gaze catches my eye as I beg silently.

Please help me protect them brother. Please help me protect my happiness. I wish as I hold tae's hand. Brother nods at me and smiles. I look at tae and he's looking at me as if to ask what was that. I shake my head. I look around me at all the people I care about enjoying themselves and smile.

I'll treasure these small moments so please let them always be happy.
