Amber decided to get ready for work.She put on a red bodycon dress and black Prada heels.Most of her clothes were like this ;She liked dressing in grand style.
Amber worked in her office for sometime but couldn't get her mind off Jackson she decided to call him.He answered on the second ring.
"Hi Jackson"
"Hello Amber how are you? Have you made a decision?" Jackson asked
"I have decided to borrow you the money"
"Wow thank so much I promise to repay you"he said.
"Am only doing this because I believe that I'm investing in our future"she replied
"Amber you know I'm not ready to settle down"he replied.
"Ok, I wait, I love you"Amber replied. She waited for a reply but he hung up
Amber felt so hurt. She always helped Jackson but for four years he kept on saying he wasn't ready for marriage.
She was distracted from her thoughts by a phone call. It was her mom.
"Hello Mom what do you need?"
"We need you to come home early today. We are having a family dinner with the Bellamy's"
Amber hated Olivia Bellamy.The Bellamy's where their family friends and business partner but Amber and Olivia were never friends.
"Alright mom I would come back early" she replied
Amber waited for sometime for Jackson to come over and collect the cheque.He didn't come so she decided to leave the cheque with her secretary then she headed home

The Bellamy's arrived and the dinner started. Mr Victor Chris and Mr Linc Bellamy we're discussing some business while Mrs Eva Chris and Mrs Lori Bellamy were discussing the latest jewelries.Olivia kept staring at Amber with hate in her eyes.
This is going to be a long dinner,Amber thought.
