"Oh no, How are we going to continue staying here in the dark?"Amber asked pacing round the hallway.
"Miss.Chris you have to calm down. Help will soon arrive"Brian said.
Both Amber and Brian had turned on their flashlights and figured out that the elevators weren't working and the doors to the stairs had been locked.
"But who could have locked us up together?"Amber asked suspiciously.
"Look, let us just forget about that and enjoy our time together"Brian said jockingly.
"Mr.Fox"
"Yes?"
"Did you lock us in."
"No,I know I want to be with you but I'm not that desperate"Brian replied.
"But what are we going to do now?"Amber asked.
"We could enjoy our time together"Brian said.
"Not now,Mr.Fox, I'm not in the mood for jokes"Amber replied.
"Miss.Chris,I am dead serious"Brian said and started walking towards Amber. With every step he took Amber could feel her heart skip a beat.
"Mr.Fox, you are not allowed to kiss me and if you do I might file a case against you for sexual violence"Amber said but knowing she didn't really mean it.
"I am not going to kiss you without your permission"Brian said when he got to Amber,"Would you Miss.Chris give meMr.Brian Fox the opportunity to kiss you?"Brian asked.
Throwing all cautions to the wind, Amber replied,"Yes"
He slowly leaned towards her and pressed his mouth to hers with a heat that compelled Amber to kiss back.
It took Amber a while to realize his lips had left hers.His palms cradled her face and she held on to his wrists.
"I love you Amber and I know you feel the same way about me"Brian said wholeheartedly.
Before Amber could reply, the lights came back on. She immediately separated herself from him and started to walk towards her office.
"Where are you going?"Brian asked.
"Home. And I think you should do the same. Bye"Amber replied.
