Lord Ruby had rushed to the door. Everly was worried that Mason will blame her for bringing trouble to him. Although she knew that Lord Ruby wasn't a match for Mason, but she still felt that it was unfair to him. She was about to stop Lord Ruby when Liz grabbed her shoulder and shook her head. Her face held an excited and mischievous expression.

"Big Sister Everly, let him go. We will have a good show to watch."

Aluci also spoke up quietly from her pocket.

"She's right, Gu! Let that guy teach this arrogant prince a lesson!"

Everly was speechless after hearing them. She sighed and decided that if the prince seeks death for himself, then she won't stop him.

Downstairs, Mason stood in front of the workshop, leaning against the wall with one hand in his pocket. He impatiently tapped his foot on the ground and kept glancing at the entrance.

"Making me wait so long." He grumbled to himself. He had sent Leome a notice of his arrival so he must have told Everly.

"What is she doing in there, anyways?" He didn't know much about a little profession like a Blacksmith, but he knew that they can come in handy, like if one was talented enough, they could make a weapon that even Mason can praise once in a while.

The door of the workshop was kicked open such that the noise was heard in Master Kay's office, who frowned slightly.

"If he breaks anything, send him the bill."

Lord Ruby rushed out and looked around with an intense expression. Mason looked at him and his first thought was

Fools everywhere

Then he saw Everly come out, and he calmly walked up to her.

"Are you done? Took you long enough."

"Were you waiting for long? Sorry about that." Everly said apologetically.

"Fine, let's go then." He smiled and waved his hand. He couldn't find it in himself to be angry at her for too long.

"You!" Lord Ruby saw their exchange and figured that Mason was that person. Hearing him, Mason looked up indifferently and raised his eyebrow in question.

"I want to challenge you!" He pointed at him and said in a loud voice, getting the attention of the people around them. Everly looked at him pitifully. He's going to embarrass himself this way.

Mason gave him a long glance then looked back at Everly.

"I told Leese to find a place but he still hasn't come back. We might have to stay in a hotel for a few days." He completely ignored him.

"Okay, that's fine with me. Can you tell Leese to find a place for me as well?" Everly found the situation funny but controlled her laughter in time. Mason nodded then turned around, indicating that they should leave. Liz was standing at one side, trying her best to stifle her laughter.

"Didn't you hear what I said?!" Lord Ruby exclaimed, but he was brutally ignored again. This made him really mad. He stood in front of Mason, blocking his path.

"I said, I challenge you! It can't be that you are scared to accept it?" He smirked and looked condescendingly at him.

Mason gave him an indifferent look.

"Who's this moron? A friend of yours?"

Everly shrugged, pretending that she doesn't know him. Liz shook her head as well. Seeing this, Lord Ruby was even more mad.

"I am the seventh prince of the nation. Starlian Haffbridge. I am almost a Venerate Master and not anybody can have a chance to have a match with me. Do I take it that you have accepted the challenge?" He said proudly. A normal person would be scared after knowing that he was from the imperial family. But alas, this was Mason. He frowned with impatience and looked at Everly for an explanation.
