After spending the whole morning studying and gaining knowledge about this world, Everly finally had a grasp on some basic information. Liz helped by adding in some other little things that were not mentioned in the books.
Liz still had to go back to her academy for lessons so she left. Although she made it very clear before leaving that she was very unwilling to part with Everly so soon.
"Big Sister Everly, this is not a good bye!" She exclaimed with tears in her eyes. "I'll come find you as soon as I can when I'm done with my lessons. Wait for me!"

"Sure..." Everly parted ways with Liz, outside the Library. She saw the little figure disappearing in the crowd and sighed. She started walking off in the opposite direction. This was where most of the bigger shops were located. Everly passed by a bakery, herb sellers, antique stores and a sketchy looking shop which was selling some weird magic portions. She didn't stop infront of that shop in case someone sells her something she didn't want again.
A sign board from afar caught her eye. She sped up her pace and reached that shop. Looking at the huge workshop, a weird emotion flashed across her eyes.
Moon Peak Blacksmith
A feeling of reminiscence washed her.
Blacksmith. A profession she can't be more familiar with.
Years ago, when Everly was just eight, she was already an orphan. Her relatives didn't treat her very well. One day they left for an abroad trip and locked the main door of the house. Everly who had gone out to play couldn't enter the house when she came back. She had spent the days on the streets and when she had almost lost consciousness, a kind old man took her into his shop and gave her food and shelter. He was a Blacksmith and owned a shop. When the old man found out about the conditions she was living in, he decided to teach her forging. That way, Everly would be able to earn money for herself and would not starve.
Since that day, Everly would go to that Blacksmith's shops after school and take lessons. It was only on the day of the accident that Everly had decided to skip the lesson and go home early to watch her anime.
Remembering that, Everly smiled regretfully. If only she had gone to take the lessons... She shook her head to push out all the bad thoughts and looked at the Blacksmith shop with excitement.
Okay then! This is how I will start earning money! Wealth I'm coming!
She pushed open the door and entered the workshop. She could hear sounds of machinery and sizzling of burning metals. The atmosphere was familiar to her. A person was sitting on the reception while reading a book. She walked up to that person and called out to him. He looked at Everly curiously.
"Yes, how may I help you?"
"I'm looking for a job. Is your shop hiring?" Everly told him straightforwardly. The man frowned and sized her up.
"We do hire but are you sure you're a blacksmith?" He was a little suspicious of this young girl. Looking at her thin frame, he didn't think that she will be able to hold a hammer, much less forge items.
"Yes. Why else would I be here? What are the requirements for this place to hire me?"
The man went silent for a second before he spoke up.
