The week of the yearly festival of Drappt and Thornley came. I was now staring at my reflection from the mirror. Medyo masakit ang katawan ko kasi binugbog ako ng gym trainer ko sa exercise. He was disappointed that my weight increased 5 kilos in a span of 7 days.
I was wearing the uniform Thornley provided for all the students. It was a combination of white, brown and gold dry fit tee. I chose a size that was bigger than what I would usually wear. I just needed to feel comfortable because surely, this week will be a rollercoaster. I matched it of with a black fitted jeans. I was debating whether I would opt to go for a leggings or just jeans, pero pag mag le-leggings ako ay bumabakat. I tied my hair in a bun and wore a black running schoes.
Inaayos ko ang strap sa Canon Rebel na nasa leeg ko. I smiled when I saw Lena at my back. She was wearing her pink running shoes.
She was extra gorgeous today. The university shirt fitted her perfectly. It was showing off her wondrous curves. Her hair was tied in a high ponytail and she was wearing black leggings because unlike me, hindi bumabakat ang sakanya; lucky her.
"Ready?" I casually asked when she stood up and glanced at herself in the mirror.
She nodded and smiled. "I'm excited." May dala-dala syang backpack kase kasali sya sa cheerleading competition mamaya.
I was informed by Veign that I will be able to see him later. Palibhasa, he studies in Drappt din pala. I tied one side of my shirt. And smiled when I was now contented with the outcome.
We went down and saw Willow in the kitchen, devouring one pack of gummy bears. Her blonde hair with pink highlights were obviously straightened. She was wearing mom jeans with her shirt as she completed her outfit with brown sandals.
It was seriously unfair that she could barge in our dorm room without our consent. Pa'no kase, she has a duplicate key from Lena.
"Good morning! Kanina pa ako naghihintay sa inyo!" Good mood ang gaga. Lena told me that Willow had a real good time last night at Kick!. May kumausap daw kase sakanya na hottie. I was unable to be with them because my swollen-not-so-swollen leg hurt like hell after I spent two hours in the gym.
"Coffee shop muna, please?" I pleaded. My call time was 8 o'clock sharp. Bawal late. But it was still 7 am. The three of us were too excited about this sports fest. It was our first time after all. Luckily, the two of them nodded. Lumabas muna kami sa uni at went to a coffee shop that was only a block away.
We ordered. I got a caramel macchiato. Willow likes her coffee hard so she went for a triple shot espresso, while Lena, our baby girl went for a mocha frappé. "Ang aga-aga mong mag frappé. Maaga pa kaya," Said Willow.
Lena pouted. "Don't judge. Di naman ako mamamatay dahil nito."
The three of us chatted about stuff. Willow suddenly asked how Veign (which she referred to as Jerk) and I met. They just hate each other. The mere mention of his name is making her muffling her anger.
As soon as we finished our drinks, we agreed on going back. Quarter to 8 na din kase.
The university was really beautiful. The students; especially the student body exerted extra effort for this week. I turned on my camera and started capturing pics. I saw Cassius at the gymnasium talking to some chick. Naramdaman siguro nya na may tumitingin sakanya kaya he waved goodbye to who he was talking and ran towards me and my friends.
"Hala! Si Cassius!" Willow shrieked and stared at him dreamily. Halos na lang lahat ng lalake na gwapo ay gusto ni Willow. Well, except for Jexon and Veign.
Cassius was really hot. No one will ever have the guts to deny that. With his signature curly disheveled and boyish grin, he just looks so good no matter what outfit he would put on. "Ready?" Bungad nya sa akin.
