"Cheat and I'll give you a failing grade," Mrs. Lin strictly and harshly said. Then she looked at me sternly, "At kung may mga tatanga-tanga dito, please feel free to go out."

I rolled my eyes. Mrs. Lin has this huge hatred for me since the time she knew that I wasn't paying any attention to her lections. Since then, I've been her favorite target every oral recitations.

"Ampotchi naman oh," Pagmamaktol ko agad nung nakita ko ang laman ng test paper. It was everything I didn't study!

I groaned, and groaned and groaned, "May problema ba tayo?" I didn't realize that Mrs. Lin was already infront of me, looking at me with her obviously drawn thick brow raising to its highest point.

I pouted, "Wala po," I managed to answer with all my respect that was left for her.

"Ayusin mo lang," Pagtataray pa nya.

"Meh meh bleh bleh," I mocked the moment she turned her back on me, "Ang taray, akala mo naman hindi napasobra ang pag guhit nya sa kilay nya," Asik ko sa sarili ko.

"Huy baka marinig ka nun," Saway sa akin ni Russ kahit tawang-tawa sya.

"Naku, wala na akong pake. Nakakairita na," I replied.

"Quizon, Plaza, out," Mrs. Lin's shrill voice suddenly echoed across the room.

Russ and I looked at our teacher, bewildered, "What?!" I managed to squeak out.

"Ah hindi ka lang pala bobo, bingi ka din pala. I said, OUT!" Her hoarse voice once again echoed through the four corners of the classroom as she glared at the two of us.

"Ma'am we weren't cheating. I haven't even started yet," Angil ko. She was getting really harsh. The way she treats me unfairly isn't okay with me anymore. She should've observed me and Russ more than quickly jumping into fucking conclusions.

"Totoo po yung sinasabi ni Gen, Ma'am," Russ said on gritted teeth.

Many of our classmates looked at us with sympathy visible in their eyes. I saw Marcella looking at me worriedly. Despite the fact that I was avoiding them, she still treats me the same.

"Ma'am, Russell and Geniece never cheats. They know the consequences if they do," Marcella stood up bravely, despite her knees shaking vigorously.

"Do you want to go out, too?!" She faced Marcella, eyeing her intently, then her gaze came back to the both of us, "Out! I'll see the both of you in the faculty office later."

I made a series of cusses as I stormed out of the room, "Sorry," Russ apologized as soon as we were a few meters away from the room.

"Nah, don't be. It's all fine. Nakatyempo lang talaga si Ma'am," I said as I went straight to the canteen.

"I guess we'll see each other at the faculty room later lunch?" He asked.

I nodded hastily, "Unfortunately," I shrugged, and waved at him as he went to the third floor.

I sat at my usual spot in the canteen. Slurping a large mango shake. I wasn't in the mood to eat lunch after what happened with Mrs. Lin. The test that I missed was a huge summary test about the whole quarter, and if I can't take it, maybe I'll see a red ink on my report card.

"No class?" Jexon sat at the chair across me.

"Lin kicked me out. Accused me of cheating," I simply answered his question, directly gazing at my drink.

"What?" He asked, shocked by what I said, "Today's your summary test, right?"

I nodded slowly, "Yup. And I'm here at the fucking canteen sipping a drink instead of scribbling answers in our classroom," I croaked.
