Ally followed Dr. Grant out of the lab, It wasn't right what they were doing Ally would be lying if she said she didn't think these creatures were beautiful... it just wasn't right
"I'm not on my own here, am I?!" Ally asked, trying to keep her short legs close to Dr. Grant, he glanced down at the ten year old "I know your feelings on this, I heard you loud and clear in the lab but this is the greatest thing I've ever seen in my life-" Grant sighed "But life is so unpredictable and something on this big of a scale could be catastrophic if it gets out of hand! What if one of these things escaped!?" She exclaimed
Grant glanced down at Ally and grinned "Your quiet possibly the wisest ten year old I've ever met" Ally grinned as she thought up a quirky response "The planet has survived everything in it's time, it will certainly survive us" "These past few weeks that you've been coming to the site, you never cease to amaze me" Grant said, continuing to walk on.
The two came out to a clearing, a rectangular shaped paddock came into view, it looked more like a penitentiary rather than an enclosure for an animal
What the hell could be so dangerous it'd have to be held in some kind of prison?!
"Do you know what's in there?" Ally asked Grant, his hands resting on his hips as he leaned back on his heels to take a better look at the sheer height of the thick electrical fences Ally jumped at a sudden mooing coming from behind them, a large Bull was being strapped into some sort of harness "I'm, I'm not quite sure" Grant replied absentmindedly.
Just then, a horrific and painful shriek ripped through the air like a cold knife
It made Ally let out a short scream of both shock and horror, her hands clapping over her mouth 'What The Hell Was That!' she thought.
"Dr. Grant, Miss Grady!" A voice called from the path where they came from, it was Hammond and the others "We laid on lunch for you before you set out into the park, our gourmet chef-" "What are they doing?" Ally asked "Feeding them" John said casually Ally glanced up with a look of pure horror taking over her features "Are you crazy?!" She exclaimed
John merely shrugged his shoulders leaning against his cane "Well, they have to eat don't they?" He said "They've prepared a delightful menu for us, Chilean sea bass I believe, shall we?" John asked, but Grant ignored him and headed towards the steel staircase
The group followed close behind, the Bull mooing in protest The poor thing was almost completely out of view as it descended into the thick foliage of the paddock
