Jurassic Park 1990

Song - Ominous Suspense Music/Silent Shadows By Peter B. Helland

Alison Grady ran blindly through the dense foliage of Jurassic Park, feeling the leaves slicing at her exposed skin and her sneakers soaking up the muddy jungle ground
Her adrenaline completely overwhelmed all her other senses, her mind was just telling her to run, somewhere anywhere

Ally felt her feet slip completely from under her as she tumbled down into the damp ravine, her entire body aching from head to toe
As her body collided with the muddy ground below, her shoulder gave out another sickening crunch

Ally stood up groaning loudly, her left hand still clinging tightly onto the plastic band of the night vision goggles
Her right shoulder was noticeably lower than her left, it was possibly dislocated
Her nose was swollen and bruised, she couldn't breath out of it at all

As she scanned the dark foliage, relying on the brief flashes of lightning and the light glare of the moon through the black clouds... then she remembered the goggles
Ally was about to place the goggles back onto her head when she felt a peculiar sensation around her mouth
Her top lip felt funny, numb and tingly

She wondered if she'd hurt it during her fall, she touched her lip and felt swollen flesh... but it didn't hurt at all

Then she realised with nausea that the mound of flesh was actually a leech, growing fatter as it sucked her blood
Ally pulled the leech away, feeling the flesh on her lips tearing painfully, the gush of warm blood entering her mouth
With tear filled eyes the girl flung the thing with disgust into the trees, before throwing on the goggles and checking herself over for any other of the little bastards

She saw another leech on her forearm and pulled it away leaving a dark bloody streak behind
Aside from the two she'd found, she was leech free.

Ally took a clumsy step forwards, the glare in the goggles was blocked by small spots of mud on the lenses, her fingers reached up to whip them away but again her feet were swept from under her and she fell face first onto... a road?!

She'd fallen right smack dab in the middle of a road, in one direction it led to thick trees and the other through a tunnel with a sign saying 'East Dock' beside it
Ally grunted angrily as she saw the now broken goggles laying a few feet away from where she'd landed

Ally got up and aggressively kicked at the broken piece of tech
She stood in a bit of a clearing, there wasn't much around to describe civilisation other than the sign about the dock

Ally jumped at the sudden flash of light and a powerful rumbling, but it wasn't the storm... it was a jeep
"Hello!" Ally screamed, flailing her left arm up into the air, her right she couldn't even raise past her rib cage
A large beefy man stepped out and looked down at her, she probably looked homeless
"Where'd you come from?" He asked, the man's name tag read 'Nedry'

"The- the Tyrannosaur... it-it-it broke out!" Ally stuttered, she'd almost forgotten how to even speak
"Well, come on" he waved her over, pulling the winch from the front of the car "Come help me get the car back onto the road" he said

Ally attempted to reach out for the man's hand but he tripped and fell down the small hill the car rested on, landing harshly on top of Ally
"Ugh, my glasses" he said, rolling off of Ally and digging around the dirt for his glasses but to no avail
"Here" He said holding the winch out to her "Go tie this around that tree as tight as you can" he said

Ally took it and walked over to the tree parallel to the jeep, yanking at it harshly
Thankfully the rain was beginning to ease up to their delight
"I take it your on the tour?" The man asked, she nodded heading back up the hill to stand beside to the jeep
Ally opened up the driver side door and stood up on the floor of the jeep, using the door as leverage as she reached out for the headlamps on the roof
