Song - Welcome To Jurassic Park By Jared Emerson-Johnson

Alison began her long walk home from school, she'd neglected to bring her bike after her dad dropped her off at the middle school

The streetlights were scattered here and there, only covering a small amount of the ground below with their dim and tired bulbs

The winter weather was much harsher than usual in Montana, the wind chilled her to the bone, her cheeks reddened from the cool night air
A thick fog hung waist high over the ground, making it impossible to see where she was setting down her feet

Ally felt her heartbeat quicken, her breathing become laboured, an odd feeling begin to pool in the pit of her stomach, like something in the surrounding darkness was watching her

One that would stop at nothing to tear Ally to shreds before she even had time to realise that her life had reached it's end

The crunch of a single footstep from behind Ally caused her to whip her head in that direction... nothing
'I'm just imagining things' she thought to herself.

Ally's legs started to run on their own as fear began to overtake her senses
Now there was no mistaking it, she most certainly had a pursuer

Ally didn't look back, she just ran
Her feet slapped against the paved ground hard

There was virtually nothing in the complete blackness until finally... her house!
Ally rushed to the front door, a mad scramble with her keys before finally thrusting it opened, she quickly slammed it behind her, locked.

Safe, she was safe

Whoever was outside couldn't get her now she was inside her house, Ally sighed and tossed her bag down beside the front door and turned

They were already in the house!

A huge, bipedal... thing stood at the far end of her little shack

The figure took a sinister step forward, a loud click cut through the silence as it placed it's foot down to the ground
It sounded like a claw tapping against the wooden floorboards!?

The figure stopped just at the edge of brightness from the streetlights that shone in through the front window, the tip of it's snout was now visible

It grinned at Ally with long, gnarly teeth as a guttural growl reverberated through it's throat... an eerily familiar sound

How could it be here!?
How could it be on the mainland!? Forgot that, In her house!?

The figure suddenly threw itself forward in a powerful leap revealing it's features fully in the light

'The Big One'

It's body looked to be decomposing, almost like a zombie
It's forelimb that Ally had blown of with a shotgun was nothing but broken, milky bones and drooping, rotting bits of flesh
Even it's vocal chords sounded different, more distorted like when you put on a broken record and the words are slow and drawn out
