Rising up with a smile on her face, Jennie giggles as she stretches her arms. Grabbing her glasses from the nightstand, the same with her table and the notepad, she started to write her dream. She ended writing with a smile still plastered on her face.
"Are you alright?"
Jennie smiles as she remembers her voice again. Brushing the blankets off, she scrambled her way to her window and spread her curtains open.
Jisoo blinks her eyes when a sudden bright light started shining against her eyelids.
"Come on, wake up, Unnie!"
"Five more minutes..."
"You're going to be late, you're late!" Lisa exclaimed and threw her sister's jacket right on her face making Jisoo sit up with a scowl, "Ya! You little..." Lisa then pointed at the clock behind the older, "What time is it?!"Jisoo slowly looked behind her, seeing the time, she looked anywhere avoiding her sister's eyes while scratching her neck.
"Hey, fix me a bowl too." She said to Lisa who's already eating her cereal. "Fix it yourself. I'm not in the mood." Jisoo frowned, "Why are you so sensitive? Is being 18 that stressful?" As Jisoo poured her milk on the bowl, Lisa spoke. "Jisoo, I..." She drifted off and remembered the blonde's words.
"Don't you dare tell the others about what happened today."
She sighed then shook her head, "Nevermind." Jisoo grabbed a closed the lid of the milk while still looking at Lisa, "What? Why are you being mysterious?" The younger didn't want to be questioned further so she changed the topic. "By the way, what's going on with that woman? You even crashed your car to save her." Jisoo stared ahead and ate her cereal.
"Mom, I think that woman fell over heels in love with me." Jennie spoke as she formed the rice balls with hearts. "That woman? Who?" Jennie smiled, "You know, the woman who's moved in across the street." Soyeon frowned, "Aigoo, then what about that lawyer girl Yoojin?" The short haired girl gripped on the rice balls in her hand, "Mom, don't even talk about her. Okay? He would've put the blame on me to save himself." Her mother then turned to face her, "So, are you breaking up with her?"
Jennie then frowned, "Then what, keep dating her? The girl who could've been the end of you and me?" Soyeon snorted, "Then you'll date the girl next door instead?" And with that question, Jennie's mood quickly escalated, making her smile, the rice balls being formed into a heart once again. "Well, It's not like that for now. I'm just repaying her."
"Repaying her? For what?"
"I mean, Jisoo saved not only my life, but also your life. I should repay her for that for the rest of my life, that's what a decent human being should do."
"How are you gonna repay her then?"
"The way I see it, he's never been in a relationship. What do I do? I should accept him."
"Think it through, okay? You might end up repaying good with evil."
"Oh! That doesn't sound so bad, we'll become like Romeo and Juliet. It's thrilling!" She said, chuckling.
"She's completely crazy! She thinks I have a crush on her. She's a delusional and a bit narcissistic. I'm telling you, Lisa. She belongs in a mental hospital. Wait, no, we should have laws that make people like her put up a sign on their heads, so that we can avoid people like her. God, why did I choose to get involved with her?" Lisa scoffed, "You said yourself that you felt so sad for her in your dreams." Jisoo swallowed her cereal, "No, I did not! I was scared! That's right, I saved her because I was scared! No, I did not save her. Clear? Those dreams are nonsense. Don't tell anyone about the dreams. People will think I'm crazy."
