Jisoo walked inside their floor level after she had taken a break outside. Entering with a smile on her face, hands calmly on her pocket.
"Prosecutor Kim." Someone called her out, making the dark haired stop on her tracks and turn around to find out who called her.
Nayeon.
"Do you have a moment?" She asked and Jisoo tilted her head for a moment, contemplating whether she would go.
And she did go.
That's how they ended up being inside the investigation room where they last talked.
"What is this?" The prosecutor asked as Nayeon gave her a business card. "He and I used to work together at the Changwon office together. His nickname is Viper. He's a prosecutor-turned-lawyer. Specializes in divorces." Jisoo smiled at her and the latter continued her words. "Only great divorce lawyers can get alimony from someone who diverts his assets like Park Jungmo. Give it to Mrs. Park, it'll be helpful."
"I didn't think this far ahead."
Nayeon stood up from her seat and smiled at the prosecutor. "Of course you didn't, you were too busy catching him." Jisoo chuckled, "Thank you. I guess you're my superior for a reason." And the other smirked at her, "Right? It's impactful, right? Something impactful. Bam!" Nayeon said and acted like she was punching someone.
At that, Jisoo felt like the color drained out of her face.
She turned to look st the transparent glass in front of them which she couldn't see inside as it was totally black. It was where she practiced how she was gonna interrogate Jungmo.
"Y-You saw it?" Nayeon nodded and pointed to the glass. "Yes. Everyone saw it together through that glass." She replied before going out of the room
Jisoo just stared at the empty space and felt the business card slip out of her grasp, making her groan afterwards.
-----
"Cheers!" They all shouted, which includes Soyeon, Mrs. Park, Chaeyoung, Lisa and Wonwoo who all got to the restaurant to celebrate the good news.
"Prosecutor Kim is good at what she does." Soyeon said while smiling and wrote a point on her notepad.
Prosecutor - I
Police -
"They said they'll try to get the moving and educational expenses. And my husband agreed that we obtain a restraining order." Soyeon said while smiling.
"So, do you still think my sister is a stupid prosecutor?" Lisa asked and Chaeyoung tilted her head as she looked at the transparent window. "No, I don't. Well, speak of the devil." She answered and everyone looked at Jisoo and saw her eyes looking everywhere as if she's looking for something, or someone rather.
"I'll tell her to come in." Wonwoo said and stood up from his eat.
"Don't you think those two come here too often?" Chaeyoung asked Lisa. "It's because the food here is good!" Soyeon replied and Chaeyoung giggled. "I don't know. I think they have another reason." Lisa then looked at her in confusion,
"Another reason? What?"
-----
"Gosh, why is she isn't here yet?" Jennie mumbled, she then ran as a bus stopped in front of her. She got inside and and unknown to her, Jisoo stepped out of the bus she just entered.
Jisoo looked ahead of her and saw a person who dresses exactly like Jennie. Without her thinking, she walked towards her and tapped her back to get her attention. Her smile falters when she saw that it wasn't the girl she was looking for. She bowed and smiled in embarrassment. "I'm sorry. I thought you were someone."
