"You startled me. What brings you here, Sooya?" Jisoo looked down, hands on her pocket. "There's something I need to tell you." Her father looked at her, "What is it?" Jisoo looked up and stared straight ahead. "I'll start at a higher position than a higher grade-nine civil servant." Mr. Kim glances at her and chuckles, "You heard everything last night, didn't you? Do you even know what that means?" Jisoo shook her head and looked at her father, "No, what does that mean?"
"Why do you wear glasses? Don't you have contact lenses?" Jennie pouted, "I do but it's a hassle." And at that, the smaller smirked. "Why? Do I look better without glasses?" Jisoo shook her head, "Your glasses fogged up earlier. You looked uncomfortable." Jennie then playfully started to take her glasses on and off her face, teasing the prosecutor.
"Do I look different without my glasses? Did you fall for me again?" Jisoo just looked at her with a bored face. "Just keep them on if they don't bother you." Jennie then smiled at her and took her glasses off. "If they make you uncomfortable, i'll take them off." She said and put her glasses on her coat's pocket. "By the way, what's going to happen to Park Jungmo's case? You'll investigate again, right?"
"The case is closed. How will I investigate again? With what?" Jennie frowned, "You'll turn a blind eye again? Even after what happened last night? Your sister almost became a murderer!" Jisoo looked away and sighed, "I saved my sister, so it's okay." The younger looked at her intently, "No, it's not okay. You should find more evidence and indict him!" The taller then looked at her, "On what grounds? Because he beat her up in your dream? Overlook the law and indict him without evidence? I must close the case today."
"Postpone it."
"I can't postpone it any longer! I have over 300 unsolved cases just for this week. If I investigate a case that seems pretty straightforward, I'll get transferred to a rural area. I might get fired since I'm a new recruit with no connections."
"And you'll cover it up because you're scared of losing a mere job?"
"Yes, I'm scared of losing a mere job! I had to scrap the car because of that accident and I have 36 months left with the installment plan. When I pay off the interest on my mortgage loan, there goes my paycheck for the month! Gosh, it's making me cry again."
Jennie then glared at her, "Memorize these. 45, 15, 35, 43, 27, 33." Jisoo frowned in confusion, "What are those number's for?" the smaller shrugged, "Winning numbers for this week's lottery. I saw them in my dream. I don't buy lottery tickets even when I see the numbers in my dream for my conscience's sake. I'll only tell you the numbers. The prize goes up to 2.8 billion won."
Jisoo scoffed, "That's absurd. You expect me to believe that?" Jennie nodded and challenged her. "Trust me and go for it." The prosecutor looked at her, "I should go for it because if I win 2.8 billion won, it's okay to get fired?" Jennie crossed her arms, "Go for it since you'll have a safety net." The prosecutor put both her hands on her waist, "Do you think I'm a pathetic woman who can't speak her mind because of mere money? I don't stop myself from speaking my mind or saying things for the sake of earning money."
She then put her tongue out at Jennie childishly as she entered a taxi. They both stared at each other and Jisoo glared at the younger before the driver drove the taxi away. "What was that? Her pretentious behavior doesn't make sense at all." Jennie giggled, "That was hot." She mumbled and smiled to herself.

As Jisoo walked, she passed by a car store. She walked back and stared at the red car in display. She shook her head and continued walking, only to be greeted by Yoojin's smiling face. She walked past Yoojin yet the lawyer followed her. "What's p with your forehead? Is that a pimple? And hey, let's grab lunch together. I promised to buy you sushi. I'll treat you to a meal today."
The taller ignored her, "I'm the prosecutor in charge of your case."
"Not anymore. You were trying to nitpick about the case, but were you just pretending? You wrapped up Park Jungmo's case without indicting him."
"Who said I wrapped it up?"
"Mr. Choi told me so."
"I didn't ask the chief to sign it yet though. The more I studied the case, the more I think I should not indict him."
The lawyer grabbed the collars of Jisoo's coat and made the prosecutor look at her. "There's nothing you can do if the victim signs the petition in an assault case. What nonsense are you talking about?" Jisoo pried the hands of the lawyer off of her coat. "That only work for assault cases. When I checked the file, I saw other suspicious things I didn't see before and there are people I should subpoena as well."
Yoojin scoffed, "There are suspicious things you didn't see before? And people you need to subpoena? There's none. You can read the file a thousand times, but you won't find anything. So if you're going to bluff, you should check whom you're bluffing. Jisoo, I can read your play."
Jisoo smiled and chuckled after. "Yoojin-ah, do you know what's scarier than not knowing?" She asked, her smile dropping as she looked seriously at the lawyer.
"Thinking that you know everything."
As Jisoo walked away, her face remained serious. She looked on her back to see if the lawyer was following her, seeing that it's empty, she ran behind the back of a parked car and breathed heavily. "You've gone mad." She mumbled and groaned, running her fingers over her dark hair. "How can you just bluff like that?" Jisoo sighed before holding up her fingers up like she was counting. " 45, 15, 35, 43, 27, 33."

"Hyangmi! Hold on a second!" She exclaimed and crouched down into the cart Hyangmi was rolling. She grabbed the bottom papers and slid them off the pile of papers. "What are you doing?" the older asked. The prosecutor stood up and looked at her, "I'm digging the Park Jungmo's case again." She replied before walking away and went straight to her office.
"Mr. Choi. Please summon Mr. Park Jungmo. Set a date when I can cross-examine the doctor at Giyeong Hospital and the victim, Mrs. Park." Jaeyoung looked at her confused, "Isn't it a closed case? You closed the case since you didn't indict him." Jisoo raised the files she just brought. "It's back." She sat down and looked at Jaeyong again, "Oh, right. Tell the doctor to bring all the medical copies when he comes."
"Okay. Gosh, I have to work late again today." Jaeyong groaned and scratched his head.
"Oh and, I told his lawyer that we'd summon him, but it won't be easy."
Jisoo nodded, "I didn't think it would be easy."
