A/N: Again, italics are dreams, italics in bold are flashbacks.

Jennie ran over to Chaeyoung and her mother once she saw them. "You  should stay at my house for now." Both of them looked at her in surprise. "Who are you?" the student asked. The smaller started to take her jacket off, "You friend's older sister's girlfriend." She answered and wrapped the jacket on the elder. "Let's go before your husband sees you."

Jennie frowned as she looked at the road. "There's no taxi." Chaeyoung looked at her, "There are a lot of places we can stay." Her mother looked at her and Jennie smiled, "Really? Where? I'll take you there." The student looked away, "Well, uh, I just wanted to tell you."

----

"Hyung, to tell you the truth, I had a dream." Wonwoo spoke, oblivious to Seungcheol who's gripping onto the seatbelt and sweating a lot. "I don't believe what's happening, but, Wonwoo-ah, I need to go to the restroom." And that's just when Wonwoo realized, "F-Five minutes, Hyung." He replied and started driving faster. "Five minutes?! I can't-" They hear a stomach growling that belongs to Seungcheol.

The young officer focused his eyes on the road and narrowed his eyes when he saw three women standing on the side. Wonwoo decided to pull over and Seungcheol started sweating more. "Why are you pulling over, why?!" The younger ignored him and got out of the car. "Is there something wrong?" Jennie answered, "We need to get home but there are no taxis or buses available."

Smiling, he asked, "Where are you headed to?" Jennie looked at him, her lips curling up, "Sanggu-dong." Wonwoo then nodded, "Please get in. We're going there on a patrol anyways." The three got inside and they immediately felt relieved. "We've met before, right? Valentine's Day? We could have caused a big accident." Chaeyoung's mother might've misunderstood it him and decided to put her hands on her daughter's ears.

"Oh right, that's why you looked familiar." Jennie glanced beside her and found herself chuckling nervously. "It's not what you think. He meant a car accident." The short haired returned her attention to the officer. "I didn't know you were a police officer." Wonwoo chuckled, "That's alright." Seungcheol gripped more tightly into the seatbelt and whispered, "I'm not..."

-----

"I'm sorry, I hope you can put up with us for a few days." Soyeon spoke to Chaeyoung's mother. "Do you only have two room?" The student asked. "You both can sleep on the master's bedroom, I can just share with Jennie." Soyeon answered but the student refused. "It will be okay for us  to sleep on the living room. You like sleeping on the couch, don't you, mom?" Mrs. Park, chuckled, unsure. "Uh yes, I like it." Soyeon turned to look at Jennie and pointed at her room.

"Go grab a heater." But then, the student refused again. "It's fine, I have a dry skin so it's detrimental to my skin." Mrs. Park looked at Jennie's mother apologetically, "She's an only child so she's not that social. My apologies." Soyeon just brushed it off, "It's okay, Jennie has dry skin too." Without the mother's noticing, both of their daughters looked at each other with scowls on their faces.

Jisoo entered her dark room before throwing herself on the bed tiredly. She then turned to the side and looked at the small framed family portrait she had. And the prosecutor could only smile at the memories they had.

"it's just embarrassing, you know?! I can't walk around our neighborhood because of what she did!" Her mother exclaimed, a briquette on a metal rod on her hands. Her husband spoke, "Honey, calm down. Put the briquette down and let's talk about this." Jisoo's mother blew up and threw the briquette on the floor, making it turn into ashes with fire still igniting in them.

Jisoo's father tried to take the fire away but ended up wounding his fingers instead. "It's too hot!" At this situation, the teen Jisoo decided to joke around. "Come on, mom. I thought we're all going to die. You don't want to waste the flooring?" The married couple looked at her and her mother pointed towards the door. "Get out." Jisoo's father tried to protect her daughter's body from his wife that's ready to attack.

And that's how both of them ended up hanging at their cold rooftop.

With a noise from behind, they both looked at the back to see Lisa with a heater and sleeping bags. "Mom told me to say she didn't ask me to bring these." She then switched her gaze to Jisoo. "Unnie, try to be a better daughter, okay?" She said it made the older stand up. "You little brat-" Lisa just smiled at her and walked away.

Laying down with their backs facing each other, Jisoo's father sat up and looked at her, thinking she was asleep. "You resented me at the police station, didn't you, Sooya? I wanted you to have a different life. That must be why I keep expecting more. Even if I have to take the bus, I want you to have your own car. I still haven't got the chance to ride a plane, but I want you to fly first class countless of times. I'm sorry for making you suffer."

And it made Jisoo cry herself to sleep silently.

With her arms around Jisoo's neck, a smile both on their faces, the shorter closed her eyes, stood on her tiptoes and leaned in into the prosecutor.

Jennie sat up immediately, her eyes wide. "What the hell, Jennie Kim. You're unbelievable. Are you that sexually frustrated? A kiss? And you kissed her first? This isn't right, it makes you look so desperate!" Despite the embarrassment she was feeling, she leaned back down on her bed and started squealing.

-----

Jisoo leaned into the counter as she waited for the eggs to cook. While at it, a small drop of oil decided to jump right on her forehead making her let out a loud hiss. It's not gonna be a bad day, she thought. Turns out, as she cut her finger in the middle of slicing, it is a bad day.

"Have breakfast before you go." She said to Lisa who walked out of her room on her uniform. "i don't have an appetite." Lisa crouched down and wore her shoes. "I will never be a prosecutor." Jisoo then scoffed as she sat down, "With your grades, you'll never be one." The prosecutor ate the food and smiled, "This is good!" Lisa just ignored her and walked out.

She dropped her smile together with the chopsticks she was using. "It tastes like shit."

"How much is it?"

"16,000 won." Jisoo nodded and took her card out. She ended up buying an ointment and a band-aid for herself. As she made her way to her favorite coffee shop, she spotted Jennie that greeted her with a cheerful smile.

"What is this? Did you see me coming here in your dream?" Jennie shook her head, "No, I waited here." Jisoo just looked at her in response and the shorter pointed at her forehead. "What's that?" The prosecutor lifted her hand and looked down to hide the burn. "Oh, what's that on your finger?" Jisoo looked at it and frowned, "I cut myself while making breakfast." Jennie started looking around and within a second, she ran away making the taller confused.

Jisoo pokes her tongue out in focus as she wrapped the band-aid around her finger.

"Oh, I'm sorry."

She turned around at the voice, seeing Jennie with fogged up glasses, she chuckled. She stood up and pulled the younger towards her. They walked to their table with Jisoo's hand wrapped around Jennie's arm. "If you don't treat burns, they'll get infected." The younger spoke once they reached their table.

She took her glasses off, "Let me see your face." Jisoo shook her head, "It's alright, I can apply it myself." The smaller stood up and cupped her hands around the prosecutor's face. She grabbed the small tube and gently out and ointment on Jisoo's forehead.

The taller stared at Jennie's face and mumbled, "I told you I can apply it myself." Jennie just continued on applying ointment. "Did you talk to your sister?" She asked making Jisoo frown. "She yelled at me and told me I don't deserve to be a prosecutor." Jennie then pouted, "Unbelievable. That girl, Chaeyoung is the same. She should be thanking me cause I took her home yet she's talking back at me."

The younger then smiled at her. "You hurt your finger too, let me see." At that Jisoo turned around and tried to take the band-aid she wrapped on her finger as Jennie gets one. She lifted her finger up and watched the smaller put an ointment on it.

"Other people might not know, but I do, that you went through a lot."

She grabbed a band-aid and wrapped it around the prosecutor's finger. She looked up at Jisoo and smiled.

"Good job. I mean it."

Even with those simple words, it made Jisoo smile. "You too."

Turns out, it wasn't a bad day after all.
