On a bright sunny day, Jennie can be found sitting at the small steps of stairs that are just below their gate. While crossing her arms, this time, she was the one waiting for Jisoo. She's keeping true to her words when she said that she'll be the one to keep her safe this time.
When Jisoo and Lisa got out of their house, Jennie quickly moved to her feet and approached the two sisters.
Jisoo smiled at her, showing her pearly whites together with a wave. But as what it looks like, the reporter doesn't seem to be fond of seeing her today. The prosecutor slowly moved her arm down and tilted her head at Jennie. Sighing, she crossed her arms once again and shook her head like she was disappointed at Jisoo. "I knew it."
"I heard that you almost got beaten up by the protesters yesterday. But." She moved closer to her and held the prosecutor's suit tightly onto her hands, "How could you wear a suit again? Are you serious?" Lisa turned her away to the side, refraining from laughing as she sees her sister getting scolded by someone.
But of course, with Jennie, she couldn't get away. "Ya, Lisa-ah, you should have stopped her."
"W-Well..."
She couldn't even finish speaking when Jennie spoke with her loud voice again.
"Go change now!"
Startled at the loud volume of her voice. Jisoo quickly moved her feet and formed a salute on Jennie before rushing inside their home together with Lisa, shouting. "There's a hoodie in my closet you can use!"
Satisfied, Jennie smiled to herself and mentally patted herself at the back.

Looking at a mirror that is pasted onto a pole, Jisoo looked at herself. This is her first time going to her office with her hair down, wearing a hoodie and jeans and some glasses, making her look like a college student instead of being a prosecutor.
She tried smiling, forcefully but ended up groaning and crossing her arms. "If I wear this to work, the chief will give me an earful. Gosh." Jennie then walked from behind her and threw an arm over her shoulder. "You can change at work. Besides, getting an earful is better than getting attacked." She replied before her fingers tightly gripped onto the prosecutor's hoodie, grabbing her with it. "Let go of me!"
But of course, Jennie didn't. She only did let go when they stopped and sat on the bench where they usually stop to wait for their bus.
"When will the Kim Mingyu case be wrapped up?"
"I should decide after I finish questioning the testifier today. There's no point in delaying this anyway."
Jennie nodded and looked at what's in front of them. It wasn't a great view. The colorful lanterns. Those damn lanterns on her dream. The workers are getting them ready. And the reporter can't help but look down on her hands and ask, "Can't you just indict him?" The question made the prosecutor look at her and Jennie did the same.
"I think you'd only be safe then." But Jisoo remained quiet making Jennie look away and smile. "No, forget it. I didn't mean that. Just never mind."
But the prosecutor can't just forget that. She knows Jennie was worried and scared for her, damn, she's scared out of her wits too. Instead of letting Jennie know that she was afraid of what might happen to her, she lifted her hand to the smaller's and held it tightly before looking at her eyes with a smile.
With just those eyes and that breathtaking smile, Jennie believed that everything will be fine.

Passing by the crowd of people that are on a rant in front of their office, Jisoo walked past them with a smile on her face, glad that she wasn't noticed.
