"Reporter Kim! What happened?" Seungcheol asked as he and Sohye, his female colleague rushed over her.
Jennie hastily ran her hands over her hair and glanced at Jisoo who's going inside the ambulance on a stretcher before looking back at the two concerned officers. "The plate number's 65C 4390. We must find the car. He has a shot gun."
-----
"Ya, Wonwoo-ah, let's have one more round!" Mingyu whined as he slung his arm around the officer out of drunkness.
Laughing, he pulled the taller with him so he wouldn't fall. "You plan to treat your hangover with another round of shots?"
"No, I mean, there's a nice ice cream place across the street."
"Alright alright, you kid. We'll go there." He answered with a chuckle and they both crossed the streets. As they slowly walked over, as soon as they were in the middle of the road, Wonwoo heard a car rushing, not even minding to stop even when the person driving had saw them.
Out of pure instinct, Wonwoo grabbed onto Mingyu's jacket and threw both of themselves at the corner.
Groaning and panting, Wonwoo sat up and Mingyu did too. They raised their heads up only to find the car making the way towards back them and when the officer thought he was gonna die, a round of police cars surrounded the black vehicle.
"Are you okay?" Seungcheol asked who had his gun pointed at the car together with the other officers. Wonwoo gulped and nodded in response, "Yes, we're okay."
Both of the males stood up and seeing who was the person inside made them surprised.
Mr. Jung.

Jennie held tightly onto the metal bar as she ran and pushed Jisoo on the way into the emergency room with the other staffs.
She's seeing Jisoo having a hard time to breathe, and she felt like she was in the same situation. She never thought it'd come to this, this far.
With all of her strength, the wounded prosecutor opened her drowsy eyes, and there she saw Jennie, crying as she was being rushed into the room.
She closed her eyes again, and a tear fell out of her eye.
"She has a GSW and has lost a lot of blood, so her pulse is weak. Impending cardiac arrest. Get the defibrillator ready."
"Yes, Doctor."
Jennie heard them all inside while she was outside, staring at the clear, glass doors, watching Jisoo as she hangs on her life by a thread. The reporter clasped her hands that are tainted with the prosecutor's blood and at that point, she couldn't control herself but cry.
The dark-haired forced herself to open her eyes, even if she feels like she can't. She tilted her hide to the side momentarily and even if she's the one in pain, seeing Jennie cry and in a state like that breaks her heart.
Now I can see you're the Chestnut I knew.
How did I not recognize you?
There's something I want to tell you.
It's not about how I still remember what happened 13 years ago
Or about how I'm glad we met again.
I want to tell you this more than anything.
I'm sorry.
"Flat line! Charge the defibrillator to 200 joules. Three, two, one, shock!"
