My Little Secret

Chapter 4

After Angelica left, I went to order some food for Philip. I felt sick I mean I was going to meet with Alexander tomorrow this could either go really well or I end up crying. But the thing is what would we really talk about does he have a girlfriend he wants me to know about is he expecting a child is Philip going to have a sibling. I would cancel all of this but I don't have his number which is actually stupid.

"Mummy!" Philip screamed

Am I going to tell him about Philip?
Would he believe me?
He does deserve to know about his own son right?
What if he disowns Philip?
Will he leave Philip as his father left him?
Will he be angry at me because I never told him about Philip?
He missed out on so many things would he forgive me?
But I couldn't tell him I had no way of contacting him.
I hate this so much I wish he didn't leave so I could have told him I was pregnant and if he didn't want to be apart of Philips life I would know.

"MUMMY!" Philip screamed
"What's up sweetie," I smiled
"Somewones at the dwoor," he said
"let's go other then it's probably the pizza guy," I said whilst holding his hand.

As I opened the door john was standing right in front of me. He seemed to be quite nervous.

"Hey Eliza I came to come to check up on you," John said nervously. I mean I can tell he's nervous cause he normally calls me Liza.

"Hello, uncle John," Philip said

"Come in," I suggested

"Philip come here I bought some of your favourite candies" John suggested

"Okay uncle John," Philip said running to John then running to his room after taking the candy.

"So how was the court case," John asked

"Maria won her case and now James will never be able to interfere in her life," I said

"Okay so that's good news isn't it" John smiled

"Yeah it is"
"John, come on just tell me the real reason why you came," I asked nervously

"Are you meeting up with Alexander tomorrow?" he asked

"Yes and I don't know why agreed to it but I just did and I feel so stupid," I confess whilst tearing up.

"Come here," he said and he gave me a hug

"How do I tell him about Philip and what if he wants to tell me that he has a new girlfriend and she is expecting his baby, " I sobbed

"Elizabeth Schuyler you are beautiful and you don't need him if he doesn't want you back it doesn't matter I know he's my best friend but don't take no crap from someone's who doesn't care for you okay," John let out

"Thank you, John, I honestly should come to you for advice," I mumbled

"Mummy why are yew cwying" Philip asked
"I'm not crying Pip just go to your room, please" I pleaded whilst wiping the tears off my face.
"Okay Mummy" he quickly ran back to his room

"Liza just know that if Alexander doesn't take responsibility of Philip then all of us will help you okay" John declares

"Thank you so much, John, you don't know how much that means to me," I say while hugging him.

"But to be completely honest with you we know Alexander and I think that you are the only person he truly loves," John said

"Do you think I should tell him about Philip tomorrow?" I ask

"If you feel like you should at the moment then yes," John says before leaving

After a few hours, I go upstairs contemplating what I'm going to wear tomorrow. I go take a shower then I head off to bed cause tomorrow is going to be one hell of a day.
