I walk away from them and I look for Alex.
I finally spot her talking to Michael.
"Hey Eve!" Michael greets me smiling warmly
I return the smile
"Hi." Alex says smiling before glancing at my hand that I tried hiding behind my back.
She crosses her arms and looks at me and Michael stares at us in confusion.
I look at the ground hoping that nobody can see me.
"What happened?" Alex asks picking my hand and tracing her fingers on the bandage.
"My locker slammed on my fingers." I say looking at the ground.
"How does one slam his fingers on his locker?" Michael asks laughing,I just look at the ground and ignore his comment.
Alex looks at me,sometimes I wish we weren't best friends,that way she would believe me when I lied to her and I didn't have to explain everything that happened.
"Let's find Luke and Calum." I say and they agree while we walk around school.
My phone starts buzzing and I take it,on my screen there's Mom,I take it.
"Yes?" I ask
"Hi honey!I was wondering if you could sleep at Alex's house since you're hanging out with her after school?" my mom asks
"I can sleep at home by myself." I say arguing
"Honey,please I prefer that you stay at Alex's,I'm going on a trip to see your father in half an hour and I'm staying with him until Sunday,please don't argue sweetie,I'll call you when I arrive.Love you." She says before hanging up.
"Alex?" I ask and she nods
"Can i sleep at yours today?My mother decided to visit my dad and I need to stay somewhere." I say
"Yeah course,My mom send me a message about it,your mom left your stuff at my house." She says smiling
"Oh look here you are!We were looking for you!" Michael says joining Calum and Luke.
They both smile at us and Luke reaches for me and puts his arm around me.
I can sense Alex glaring at me.
"Let's gooo." Calum says walking then stopping and then picking Alex up and walking again.
"Put me down!" Alex says laughing
"No thank you." I hear Calum say before he runs away to the school gates with her.
"How did you do that?" Luke asks me grabbing my hand and observing it.
"She 'slammed her locker on her finger'" Michael answers for me while putting his fingers up and doing the quote sign.
I look down at the ground.
"What really happened?" Luke asked,concer clear in his eyes.
"I-I..uhm.." I really didn't know how to answer that.
"I was taking my books off my locker and all of a sudden my locker slams on my fingers." I say
"Who did that?" Michael asked,looking down at me.
"I-I don't know.." I say but unfortunately I can't lie well.
"Who did that?" Luke asks again.
I look at both of them.
"Jenna." I say
"That bitch." I hear Luke whisper.
"Why would she do that?" Michael asks.
"Because she accused me of stealing her boyfriend." i say looking at Michael
"I'd rather be with you than with her." Luke says.
"Everyone has their bad days." I say kind of protecting Jenna
"Does that mean that every single day is a bad day for her?" Michael states and we all laugh.
We soon realise we were infront of the school gates and we join Alex and Calum who were laughing and talking.
"Let's go." Calum instructs while we walk to the mall.
We first get in Brandy Melville.
"Hey Eve,why not this?" Luke asks me,he shows me a black tanktop with the Ramones logo on it.
"I like it.All of you pick clothes that you think that will fit me while I roam around alright?We'll meet at the dressing room in 5." I say before walking to the other side of the store with Alex,we checked out some pretty cool clothes but some of them were still too Good.
I walk to the dressing room with Alex while we wait for the boys.
"So what really happened to your finger?" Alex asks me looking at me concerned
"It was Jenna." I finally say looking at her frowning my brows.
"She slammed my lovker on mu fingers."
I continue.
"I'll kill her.We have to plan the crime scene!What will we dress?What about our weapons?And food? Oh my god! Foooooood!" She says acting like a five year old baby. I laugh at her.
"No but seriously I'll kill the fuck out of her." She says,Alex puts people's needs before hers and she always has the same enemies as me.I remember when we were little there was this boy,Sam i think that during the summer wouldn't leave us alone and we both despised him to death.
The boys finally arrive and I pick Calum's first since he was infront of me.
I pick the clothes he picked and go to the dressing room.
