"Luke stop it,I'll kill you!" I say as I laugh
"I won't stop tickling you." He says laughing too
"Guys,we brought lunch! Oh..My...God...Eww keep that to yourself!" Michael says as he walks in the room
It sure did look like something else,Luke was on my back tickling me.
"No,No,no we were tickling!" I defend myself and Luke nods quickly
"Ohh can we join???" Michael asks and Alex facepalms herself,her eyes were bloodshot but nobody seemed to notice,I sent her a confused look and she just shrugged meaning she didn't want to talk about it.
"Let's just eat already.." Ashton says not even looking at me,obviously annoyed.
Ashton leaves the room and Alex follows close behind him.
"Did anything happen to Alex?" I ask them sitting up and concern filling me
"No,I don't think so,why?" Michael asks looking behind to see if Alex was there or not
"Her eyes,were bloodshot,has she been crying?"I ask looking at Michael and then at Luke who held the same expressions as they didn't know anything,as for Calum he held his head down all the time
"Calum?Do you know anything..?" I ask trailing off
"No,sorry." He says with no emotion
"Calum,tell us the truth." Luke says
"It's none of your fucking bussiness!" Calum rages out of nowhere.
"Calm down,dude!" Michael says as he closes the bedroom door behind him.
"What happened?" I ask again
"I-I told her that yesterday was a mistake,a stupid one.And she then said that it was fine because she was used to these kind of situations,she told me she was always the second choice and that it was fine."He says sitting on the desk chair and putting his hands on his knees.
"Oh Calum,Calum.." I say
I remember when Alex was 12 she had to go to a psychologist because she had a big trouble in trusting herself,she was always scared,after a few months of psychologist she became better,she was better and smiling,but at 13,it all became worst,that was when she had her first real boyfriend,she really liked him but unfortunately he didn't like her that much,so when they broke up,she didn't ate well for days,she barely ate,she barely talked,she barely smiled and that went along for two weeks,after two weeks everything became normal,that's what I thought,she then told me her secret,I remember when she told me it,she was scared of disapointing me,she was scared of the tears she held,she was scared of everything.
*FLASHBACK*
It was so cold and it was raining,we ran to inside of the school to keep us warm and safe of the tears the sky let out.
"Evelynn,I need to tell you something.." She says as she crosses her arms and fixes her eyes on the floor.
She was never like this,she was usually that girl you envy for her happiness,she was always cheering everyone up and making everyone smile,helping people was her happiness.
"What is it?" I ask loking up at her,trying to find a way to look in her eyes
"Evelynn I'm so sorry to tell you this,I hate doing this to you,but I'd rather tell you then hiding it." She says
"I-I-" She starts off and then takes a long breath before continuing,concern was taking control of me,I had no idea what was going on."
"I cut." She finally says and I had a feeling my heart could stop at any moment,my dear best friend,the strongest looking girl I've ever met,was hurting herself
"Show me." I say holding back the tears and gulping the lump in my throat
She slips her sleeve and I felt that my world was crumbling down.
There were at least 30 scars on her wirst,some small some big.I felt my heart slowing down and my knees go weak,I didn't pass out because we sat down.
That day,everything changed.
She was disapointed at her ex-boyfriend behavior and was mad at her for being 'stupid'.
I explained her everything that she was and she told me.
"We're all perfect in the most imperfect ways." She said
*END OF FLASHBACK*
Luke and Michael looked at us confused,they didn't know the kiss happened.
"I hurt her,bad." Calum says meeting my eyes,I could see the guilt in his eyes
"What the hell are you talking about?!" Luke asks curious and Michael agrees.
Calum takes a deep breath and looks at Luke.
"Yesterday,I kissed Alex.I don't know I just,I don't even know why,I just know it was a mistake and she didn't take it well,when I told her." Calum says quietly and I look at Luke specially because he likes her
"You fucking hurt her?" Luke asks in disbelief
Calum nods slowly.
"The hell dude!She has so much confidence in you and you ruined it all!" Luke stands up balling his fists
"Luke calm down." I say grabbing his wrist,he looks at me and his eys soften
"Calum,you'll need to talk to her,you don't know what she's been throught." I say remembering the horrible flashbacks
"Do you even like her?" Michael asks and we turn our attention to him
"No,I actually don't,I guess I was kind of using her?" Calum says more a question then a statement
"Is it true?" We turn our attention to Alex,who was at the bedroom door,her eyes red and tears rolling her cheeks
Calum just gags and I look at her in sympathy
"If you never liked me,then don't make me trust you,giving you my trust was a huge mistake." She says breaking down and crying,leaving the room.
"You fucked up real big." Luke says leaving the room,me following me in search for Alex.
