"Harsh is heavily wounded and in between life and death" said Taresh with tears threatening to spill
"Oh my god" said Piara with her hands over her mouth trying to stop her sobs
"Lets pray Pia" said Taresh
Piara was having a breakdown and Lavanya hugged her tight . Taresh' words hit Lavanya hard like bricks , she felt guilty . Seeing Piara cry made her feel more guilty . Her words and Taresh' words rang in her mind with occasionally Piara's cries.
" I need to go to Harsh" said Piara
"I'll accompany you" said Lavanya
Piara took the keys from Kayna and set Lavanya free , Lavanya's legs were really bruised . Harsh left the keys with Kayna because he knew that Kayna wouldn't let her free.
Piara nodded and Lavanya went with her . She thought that Piara would scold her for her words but she didn't , Piara was a mess . Seeing the Doctor looking after Harsh broke Piara's and Lavanya' heart . It was near night and Piara had not stop sobbing. Piara slept in Lavanya's lap that day .
"Queen , the King had woken up" said the maid
Piara woke up and went to Harsh's room in a hurry. Lavanya was walking behind her . Harsh raised his hands calling Piara when he saw her . Lavanya came in back of her. Piara held her hands over her mouth trying to stop her cries .
"Pia don't cry" said Harsh
" I'm not" said Pia
Harsh gave her a look . Harsh tried to get up and Pia helped him , there was several grunts while getting up . Lavanya felt her heart sink seeing him in this way even though he wasn't great with her .
"Lavanya look your words were going to be true but I didn't let it" said Harsh
" please don't say like that " said Lavanya, she was already feeling guilty
"Harsh" said Piara strictly
"Ok queen " said Harsh
"Get some rest and we will meet tomorrow " said Pia
" goodnight love" said Harsh
" same to you " said Pia
Pia and Lav went to Piara's room . Piara was very disturbed and Lavanya felt guilty for everything . Piara kept her head in Lavanya's lap and tried to sleep but she was unsuccessful .
"Today I'll say the Bedtime story" said Lavanya and Piara gave her a small smile.
Once there was a princess and a King . The princess was having a ceremony where the person with the most strength win her hand for marriage . The king entered and she felt love at first sight.
" what is your name, my highness " said the princess
"Lakshya , what is the name of this beauty" asked The king
"Drishti " replied the princess
" here for the ceremony "she asked
" yes" he said
" have you seen her" she asked
" no unfortunately " said him
" you'll meet her tomorrow " said her
" hopefully " he said
They both talked for a while and she was falling him more and more. He didn't know she was Princess Drishti, he was clueless. They spend some time and they went back to sleep . She checked the list and noted his number of showing his strength.
"All the kings present here , you are here for the hands of the princess for marriage " announced a person
"The princess will give you the bow and arrow to shoot " said the person
"You need to hit the birds eye and you will only get a chance " said the person
The first prince came and Drishti tightened the bow so he fails . She did it with everyone till Lakshya . She pledged herself that if Lakshya fails , she will accept the remaining as her fate . She made the bow to normal for Lakshya
"Here my highness " she said
"Thank you Princess" said Lakshya
"My pleasure" said Drishti
To Drishti's and Lakshya' luck , Lakshya was able to hit properly and win her hand to marriage. Lakshya was happy but Drishti way happier. She might have cheated but she believes in 'everything is fair in love and war'. Drishti felt butterflies in her stomach and she wanted to dance in happiness but she kept calm.
"You can marry her from here and again marry at Chaturajy" said Drishti's father and the King
"Yes I'm fine with it my highness" said Lakshya to his future father in law
"What a delight , it will happen tomorrow "said the King
Drishti was dressed in her bridal dress, she was a beautiful bride for a handsome King. She was excited for the wedding. It felt like a dream to her . After the marriage both of them head to Chaturajy. Lavanya was waiting for the arrival.
"Namaste " said Lavanya
"Meet your sister in law" said Lakshya
"That's how that story went but the punishment of cheating was a sadly ever after I think" said Lavanya remembering Drishti's death
"That life" Said Piara
"She is no more as punishment" said Lavanya
"Every pain will heal slowly" said Piara
"I wish " said Lavanya
"Let's drown the sadness for a while" said Lavanya
"Ok" said Pia
"Tell me how is it being Queen" said Lav
"It's great because unlike some people Harsh give me equal right" said Pia
"That is great" said Lav
"I will give my crown when I find Harsh' true love and that's a promise" said Pia
"You will give the power" asked Lav
"I am not power hungry and I want three powerful couple who complete each other rule" said Pia
"You are one of a kind" said Lav
Lav and Pia hugged each other. They slowly fell asleep. It was midnight and it was silent.
A women wearing a duppata over her face wall towards the secret door. She was walking without making a sound. A messenger of the enemy country was waiting for her.
"Yes, tell me"said the guy
"I will leave door opened tomorrow night, this is a place no one usually comes" said the woman
"Tomorrow, don't forget to save yourself" said the guy
"I will " said the woman
She walked towards the palace slowly and went back to her chambers slowly. She went into her room and looked out of the window.
"I can't wait for tomorrow" she murmured.......
