||Chapter 25||

" That faint voice of yours that grazed me

Please call my name one more time

I'm standing still under the frozen light, but

I will walk towards you, step by step

Still with you " _ Still with you

Candles, balloons, and dim light. What is this situation where my heart is beating at full speed? Feels like my heart will come out of my chest. I slowly walk inside the room wondering if this is a dream or reality. Maybe I know what this is but I don't believe it. It's a dream and soon I'll wake and laugh at it. But when his warm skin touches mine I can't deny it. This all feels so unreal that I close my eyes and then I hear his soft, sweet, but a tempting voice. "open your eyes Y/N" When I open my eyes, he's standing in front of me with a bouquet with pink and white flowers.

" Y/N I've been wanting to tell you this for a while now but never got the courage to but today I'm not gonna keep in inside. I know how I've been to you these past few weeks but all I did was just to have you. I was a jerk to you and it's been killing me inside to keep acting like that, but believe me, I'm not. The time I've spent with you is the most memorable and special time. I can't even express it in words how much you mean to me and how amazing you make me feel. Your one smile can heal all my wounds and make my day. And I wanna see that smile every day! I wanna spent the rest of my high school with and only with you. And I promise I'll never let you down. So Y/N I really really like you. Will you go out with me? "

He gives me the flower bouquet. That moment felt like I'm in heaven. Tears start to flow down my face. I totally forget that I have to give him an answer. " No no no don't cry Y/N I-uh I guess you're too happy? Haha, but at least tell me yes or yes? " I hit him softly on his chest. "Yesss" He wipes my tears and pulls me closer to him and . . . . our lips intervene with each other. He tastes like mint. His soft lips give me sensations throughout my body and I finally experience my first kiss. This feels like I'm a princess and he's my prince and we're having our happy ending but I know we have a long long way to go. When he pulls his kiss away, he hands one more gift. "What is this? " "Open it" I unwrap the gift wrap and see there's a book, more like a journal. Its front cover has a picture of me and Jungkook. The one he took at my house. When I open it I see many candid polaroids of me with a sweet confession below it. When I turn the page I see portraits of me on the left side of each page. " I-Um...I don't know what to say!. .When did you.....When did you click all these polaroids?" " And the sketches...Is that supposed to be me?" I giggle looking at a cute angry cartoon. I kinda seem red with anger, balloon cheeks, and I'm angry at Jungkook who's on his knees apologizing to me. And beneath it is a confession which reads "I AM SORRY" I just keep staring at it with an amused look on my face."So am I forgiven? " He bunny smiles at me and I reply him with a hug.

Suddenly we hear claps from the room. So apparently Jimin and Taehyung were hiding somewhere and they saw and heard everything. Oh gosh, this is so embarrassing. We kissed and they saw it. "That was unbelievable!!! So finally after so many efforts, you guys are together!! AT LAST!!!!" Jimin hissed. "I am extremely happy for you guys" Tae whisper shouts and claps hands like a child who's finally got his favorite toy. But we both shy away. "You guys are something, I mean ...I mean do you guys even know what privacy means?" Jungkook shouts embarrassed. "Come on dude! we know everything about your little love story! Don't be shy, and if it weren't for me and Tae you guys would have never in a hundred years reached this point." Jimin braggs. But what he said is true. Maybe?!

"I know you didn't eat anything the whole day, did you?" Jungkook asks concerned. "I did not have dinner but I.......yeah I didn't eat" I don't tell him about my cup noodles and all packed snacks. I just go along. "So I knew and hence we're gonna eat now. " "You serious? then where's the food?" I ask. "The food's here" Jimin and Tae bring two plates and keep it on the table. I look at all this in surprise. I didn't realize this earlier but they even arranged a dining table with candles on it, with two chairs. "Now we're gonna give you privacy so have LOT'S of fun." Jimin says with excitement. And they leave. Then Jungkook pulls my chair and asks me to sit, just like in movies. "I'm speechless. How did you manage to do all this? Candlelight dinner, balloons, roses, my gift, and all of this?" I take a bite of the pudding. "A guy has his ways to impress his girl" "So I'm your girl now?" I shyly smile. "Aren't you?"He looks at me and then looks down. "I don't know" I make a pouty face. "I couldn't save much food from the counter, though I hope it's enough. " "I don't mind"

 I'm still laughing at the situation that I was asked out in my pajamas at 3 in the morning. How much more interesting could this have been? This is something I can tell my kids and my grandkids. I giggle at my thoughts. "What are you thinking?" he asks me. "Nothing you need to know about"  After we finish eating we leave the room, go outside and sit on the swing.

I lay my head on his shoulder. "You don't know how much you hurt me" I confess

"I know I went overboard" he says sadly reflecting his actions. 

"You know you didn't had to do all this, you could have just told me. The way you distant away from me I felt as if I had done something wrong and I didn't know what. And I've been actually wanting to ask you, did something happened during the weekend? Like after that weekend, the next day you were with like a dozen? no even more girls, all flirting, touching, and what not gosh! It looked as if you were some kinda playboy just trying to collect as many girls as possible just the way people collect pokemon." He starts to laugh and then gets quiet when he realizes it's not funny. "You didn't had to put it like that.....Ahem. .I'm sorry that was not funny"

"yeah"

"I don't know. It's just I realized my feeling for you and you still saw me as your friend. I had to do something. I thought making you jealous was a good idea so I um.....did all that. And about the day when you saw me with a girl in my car, it was just a show, when we left school I dropped her midway. And she just cursed me and left." He answers embarrassed.

"Shit!! ha ha I'm sorry I'm laughing cause that's so um. . . ."

"Okay  don't say more. I know. But you're rude. I'm embarrassed as it is and you're just adding more to it" he himself laughs but awkwardly.

"However it's not one-sided! You were flirting with that Namjoon guy too! You should know how much hurt I was yesterday evening when he was basically trying to get a chance with you at the disco. Cheap bastard" 

" No, we're just friends...And he's a really good company!"

"Yeah, I got that when he came to your house. But are you seriously talking about another guy in front of your boyfriend? "

"So you saw the snap" I feel accomplished inside. I'm so evil.

 When he says he's my boyfriend I get butterflies in my stomach.

"And the part about talking of other men in front of you...........you're too eager, let's not jump and keep some distance hmm?" I say it in a teasing manner and run away from the swing. For a second he takes my words for real and becomes serious but when he sees me laughing at him he runs behind me. It's so hilarious to see him dumbfounded. "You seriously"

" I guess we have to say goodbye now " It's almost 5 in the morning and we're standing in front of my room door. "yup" I answer him. "Thanks for today" He leans in front of me and gives me a peck on the cheeks. And I just become so shy I wave my hand, go inside and close the door. But suddenly I open the door when he was almost leaving I turn him, tiptoe and kiss his lips with all the passion I got. He becomes super shocked but then closes his eyes and mixes in with the kiss.

When we break the kiss before he could say anything I run inside. I'm breathing heavily. What just happened to me back there? Idk but whatever happened, It was perfect. When I peep from the peephole he's still standing there. And the look on his face seems as if he's drunk. I didn't know Jungkook has this side of his too. his cheeks are burning and so are mine. After a while, he goes away and I too go back to bed keeping the present he gave me inside my bag very carefully.
