12:00 am

I throw the remote on the bed as soon as I see it's 12:00 am. I jump on the bed and start staring at my phone continuously. She should call at any moment. Any moment now!!!. I open my phone and see our pics together. I still can't believe it's already been 1 year since we started dating. All the time we spent together is so special I can't forget ever.

12:05 am

Hmm? She hasn't called yet. Must be busy. I'm sure she'll call.

12: 13 am

The phone rings and before even seeing the name I pick up. "Happy bir-"
"Y/N!" I call out her name.
" Dude it's me, Jimin. I know you want to hear her voice desperately all the time but unfortunately, it's me. Haha. Happy birthday 'Birthday boy' 19 already huh!. I'm so happy for you." He wishes me. His voice showing genuine happiness.
"Thank you." I'm a little disappointed that Y/N is not the first person to call me on my B'Day. But I'm glad it's Jimin.
"I'm sure Y/N called you first right?"
"Ummm no actually. But I'm sure she's on her way to calling me" I assure him as well as me.
"Shit, sorry man. I was your first call then? But you should be honored that you got a lucky charm like me to have your first call on your birthday" He giggles.
"Yeah yeah I'm extremely honored"
"Don't worry dude, she'll soon call but if she doesn't then...All god's wish. I'm always there for you." He proudly says.
"Sure. Bye"
"bye" he cuts the call and once again I'm staring at my phone.

"What are you looking at huh? You have absolutely no idea what I'm feeling right now so stop staring at me rudely. You don't have a girlfriend that's why you won't ever understand. But I know you have a crush. It's all written on your face. Don't worry though, I'll help you out with her. I've been through it all. And you definitely don't have to worry about Sammy. You're better I know that. I'll help you get Appy." I dumbfound myself talking to my phone. How more stupid can I act waiting for her call. I laugh at myself. Sammy, Appy, and whatnot. Appy, that is apple is Y/N's phone and Sammy, that is Samsung which is Jimin's phone. Seriously, this is hight of stupidity. But I can't help, Y/N drives me crazy.

12:45 am

Should I call her first? Aye!! How can I call someone on my B'day just so they could wish me? Does she even remember it's my B'day today? Come on...Of course, she does.

My phone rings again at 12:50. It's Taehyung. I pick up and suddenly my ear is flooded with his loud and enthusiastic voice as if it's his own birthday.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR JUNGKOOK, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU"
"Thanks Tae. I'm delighted at least you called" I sigh
"Why what happened?"
"Y/N didn't call yet. I guess she forgot" I sulk while talking.
"ohhhhhh, too bad. Maybe she really forgot. How absent-minded"
"In situations like this you should console me and all you could say is 'yeah guess she forgot? And you don't get to label her. Only I can do that. She must be busy or sleeping. I'm sure she'll call." I cut the phone out of anger. How can he call her absent-minded. That's rude. My baby is not absent-minded.

After 2 mins he calls again. And I pick up. "Sorry dude. I didn't think it'd affect you so much." "It's okay...But do you think she even remembers?" I ask hoping for a positive answer. "Maybe you never told her your B'day, did you?"
"maybe..ahh I don't know....whatever...What were you doing?"
"playing video games. Wanna play one with me?"
"yeah..what else do I have either way...Let's play" I cut the phone and we start a game which lasts for 1 hour or so.
