Boogie yelled my name from the living room but I didn't answer him. I kept reading the words over and over again in my head. I"M BACK ROCKO.
Could it possibly be him?
Boogie eventually found me in Rocko's room with my hands still up to my mouth, staring at the wall. "Yo! I said seven minutes." He tapped at his imaginary watch. Turning to see why I wasn't responding to him. "What the fuck is this?" He pointed at the message then looked back at me.
Removing my hands from my mouth, "I don't know." I shrugged, "I walked in the house and it was upside down, I came in here because I thought I saw someone and ended up seeing this shit."
"Whatchu' you mean you thought you saw someone?" He cautiously checked the room.
"I was walking back to the front and saw something out the corner of my eye."
"You know something, don't you?" Boogie studied my facial expressions.
"I don't know anything!"
He took out his cellphone and snapped a few pictures of the room and the wall, then tucked it back in his pocket and grabbed my arm, "Let's go." He says pulling me towards the door.
"I can walk perfectly fine, thank you." I snatched away from him and continued walking back to the front of the house.
We sped walk back to the car before anyone could see us, he climbed in the driver's seat and I hopped in the passengers seat, heart racing. He took his phone back out and quickly sent the pictures to Rocko, and waited for a callback. His eyes never left my house and as for mine, they were all over the place; wondering if somebody was going to walk up on us and open fire. Rocko soon called back yelling into the phone as soon as Boogie answered it.
Boogie asked Rocko while checking the mirrors, "You have any idea who it could've sent that message?"
I couldn't hear Rocko clearly but I could only imagine what he was saying to Boogie on the other end of the phone. A few times, Boogie would glance over at me, nodding his head to whatever Rocko was saying to him.
"Alright....one." Boogie took the phone off his ear.
"Where's Athena!" I yelled into Boogie's phone right before he hit the end button.
He pushed me back down in my seat and aimed his pistol in my face, "Sit down and shut up."
Calmly asking him again, "Where.... is my daughter?"
"Don't worry, she's at a safe place." He assured me, lowering his pistol back to his lap. "We don't want her to get caught up in any potential gunfire now would we?"
"Don't act like you care about Athena now!" I rolled my eyes and folded my arms. "I don't know how I didn't see the signs." I beat myself up for slipping. "But my baby, she knew ya'll was foul and was trying to tell me the whole time. Monsters! That's what she called you and your brother!"
"You were too caught up on Freddie's ass." He laughed at me. "Blinded by that dick....Yeah, he told us how he had you going stupid for it in Miami, until he dipped off and got a piece of Violet...had yo ass walking back to the hotel crying and shit." He cackled a little bit.
