Ocean Eyes // A JESSA STORY

Part 14

Nessa:
Today we were going to the beach with the boys and their girls. Everyone started loading into their cars. Josh and I were together and so were all the boyfriend and girlfriends. We were singing along to songs when we finally arrived at the beach. I got out and raced Josh to the ocean. There was a ice cream place along the way, which distracted me, so Josh won. Insert eye roll. We were all just laying around and laughing and talking. We finally decide to go swimming and we get in the ocean. I realized none of us had sunscreen on and we were getting burnt, so, being the mom of the group, called everyone to get sunscreen.

N: Suncreen!!!
J: No, babe. I want to get tanned.
Av: Yeah, come on, Ness. It's fine.
N: No. Everyone line up. Now.

They all did as I said and I went down the line sunscreened them all up and down there bodies.

N: Now, we can go swimming.
B: Thanks, Mom.

Bryce joked.

N: Haha, very funny. Now c'mon. Let's go swim.

We all started running when I feel my legs getting picked up off the ground. I knew it was Josh and as I looked around to see him, he smirked and stared at me with those ocean eyes. (See what I did there?!)

N: Joshua, put me down!
J: No way. You're to cute.
N: Oh, whatever. That's a very bad excuse, you know?
J: It's really not. It's a good way for me to say you're cute.

I blush and he kisses my cheek. He starts running towards the ocean, when all of a sudden he's knocked to the ground.

J: Oh, sorry.

He looks up and he sees...

Next chapter, tomorrow! I've never done a cliffhanger and I feel pretty bad about it, but oh well! You'll get over it! Sorry for a late update/short story. But, please, guys and girls, leave ideas and thoughts. I really want to know what you're thinking. One reason I didn't update sooner was because I was waiting on comments.
