Josh:
I look up and I see the guy who tried to get with Nessa at our first party. He tried to stand up and act taller, but as soon as I stood all the way up, he turned around and walked away without saying anything. I turned back around to grab Ness's hand, but when I did, she had tears in her eyes.
J: Hey, hey. What's wrong, baby?
N: I-it's just that when I looked at him, all of the memories came flooding back with him and B-B-Blake.
She sobs.
J: Hey, listen. It's gonna be okay. I'm here and I'm never letting you go.
We go back to the car and sit until she's ready to go back down to the beach. When we go back Avani and Anthony had fallen asleep on eachother and the rest were just sitting around, sun bathing. Nessa and I decide to walk along the shoreline. We hold hands and take some pics of eachother. We held a comfortable silence and just walked.
Timeskip 2 years:
J: We should take a vacation.
N: Where and when, because I'm so there.
I laugh.
J: You, me, Cabo, and in the winter.
N: Okay! This is going to be amazing.
We were now both 20 and I loved Nessa too much to be able to express. A lot will go down in Cabo in 4ish months. The last two years have been great.
