[Play HIGH SCHOOL LIFE by Sharon Cuneta]
Sequence shows a montage of Jin and André for the next few weeks, gradually getting to know each other very well while studying.
Scene shows André beginning to type bits of his ideas using the typewriter. He loads the platen with a crisp sheet of paper and starts pressing on the keys hard, doubled his efforts from the usual laptop.
Camera follows Jin walking the path way. A senior catching up with him, lending him a notebook with a smiling Pucca as front cover. The senior gives him a three-hundred peso bill. Jin nods, the shaky camera showing a close-up of his face. The senior student smiles at him and leaves.
Transitions to André, stretching his arms from writer's block fatigue. Crumpled sheets of paper liter his bed. A smooth paper sits on his lap with a very short poem he had typed. He reads it once, then reads it again, uncertain about his thoughts.
André props on his arm while lying flat on his tummy on the bed. He takes his phone and checks his Messages where Jin is seen from the inbox.
[Shows Jin's text message]
Jin [Text Message]:
<INBOX> 1 Kumusta weekend? May nasulat ka na ba?
<INBOX 2> Masaya pala 'tong Mythology. Reply ka naman...
André starts to type, but deletes it. He looks at his poem again and flops his head on the bed.
Scene quietly goes through Jin and André, walking out of the school and into the sidewalk. Jin holds André's elbow as they cross the pedestrian lane towards the eatery.
André laughing at Jin's joke. Jin putting a spoonful of rice into his mouth. André showing him a picture on his phone of Ms. Montalban on Facebook, wearing a bikini.
Jin staring at André privately while André writes down his answers in Values Education.
[Music and scene stop, cut to black]
Sara [Voiceover]:
Magandang magandang magandang magandang umaga sa inyong lahat, mga kapwa ko mag-aaral ng ating minamahal, mataas na paaralan ng Del Pilar! Ako ang inyong lingkod, boses ng Sirkulo, Sara Dimasala!
Scene appears. A view of the front of a classroom where two students in their uniform speak to the class. Scene switches to the class where eager freshmen listen with all their innocence.
Melchor:
Ayan, maganda 'yan Krissy! [Imitates Boy Abunda's tone and inflections] [Laughs Boy Abunda style] At ako naman si Melchor Katangis, punong abala mula Teatrong Pampanitikan!
Melchor+Sara:
At narito kami ngayon upang kayo'y paunlakan sa tawag ng TANGHALAN!
Melchor:
[Raises a xerox copy of a poster of Teatrong Pampanitikan] Taon taon na lamang, Krissy, na tayo'y nanawagan sa mga actors-at-heart d'yan.
Sara:
[Imitates Kris Aquino's voice] Ay oo naman! 'Yung mga may diwang artista d'yan sa tabi-tabi, now is your break! Mag-audition sa gymnasium ngayong darating na Biyernes, ganap na alas kwatro ng hapon. Hanapin lamang ang Queen of All Media, yours truly...
Melchor:
Oh di kaya nama'y hanapin ang King of Talk, wala nang iba... [Grandly gestures to himself]
Melchor+Sara:
At maging parte ng Teatrong Pampamilya.
Freshmen clap loudly. Melchor and Sara are seen walking out of the classroom.
Sara:
Wagi ka don, Mel. Nako, nako, nako... Buti na lang at hindi ka talaga lambot.
