"Wait! I want a night night kiss from him too!" Natsu whined. Kageyama turned and planted a kiss in the same spot, smiling.
"Night night Natsu. Go to sleep, okay?"
"Okay." She snuggled into her blankets and sighed deeply. Hinata started to walk out of the room quietly with Tobio right behind him, smiling to himself. "I love you big brother."
"I love you too Natsu."
"I love you Kageyama." Kageyama stopped and his eyes widened, turning around.
"You too Natsu. Get some rest." His heart swelled with joy as he left the room, closing the door behind him. "She's sweet."
"She can be." Hinata kept walking, fiddling with his hands. "Go to the living room and pick a show. Not horror. I can't do horror. I'm getting blankets."
"Alright." He walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. He started to scroll through the shows mindlessly, trying to find one at least a little appealing.
Hinata walked back in, several blankets and pillows in his arms. "One of these is weighted. Get it."
"That's a lot. Here." Kageyama took the weighted blankets and the pillows, bringing them to the couch. He set an equal amount of pillows on each side of the couch, putting the weighted blanket over all of the ones Hinata had laid down.
"Alright. You got a show?"
"Yeah, some sort of comedy. Nothing scary." He replied. Hinata nodded and settled under the blankets on one side of the couch, away from Kageyama.
Kageyama laid down on his side of the couch and sighed. The comedy wasn't incredibly funny to either of them but made Hinata giggle every once and awhile. The taller male stretched his legs out and tapped the smaller boy, messing around. Hinata looked up and smiled, tangling their legs together. "If you fall asleep after me, don't try to prank me. I will hit you."
"I wasn't planning on it." Kageyama responded. Hinata shrugged slightly and yawned, burying himself deeper into the blankets. Eventually, he stopped giggling at the show and quiet snores emitted from him. Tobio smiled and turned down the volume on the TV.
"Goodnight Shōyō." He took out his phone and started to scroll through Instagram pointlessly.
Kageyama hadn't noticed how long he had been on his phone until he heard soft whimpering at his feet where Hinata was hidden beneath the blankets.
12:08 AM
"Damn." He shut off his phone and set it down, closing his eyes. The whines got louder and more urgent when he did this so he sat up and leaned over, looking at the tears running down the boy's face. "Shit."
He reached over and lightly shook his shoulders, trying to wake him up. Hinata whined again and Kageyama picked him up, placing him in his lap. The small boy began to weep as he woke up from the nightmare, startled but clung onto Kageyama as if his life depended on it.
"Bad dream?" Hinata nodded feverishly and tried to breathe properly. Kageyama rubbed the sides of his head and neck, whispering that he was okay. The boy finally stopped crying and relaxed against the larger male, sniffling. "See? All better now. It's okay. Nothing is going to hurt you."
"O-okay... Okay... I'm okay..." Hinata whispered and closed his eyes. "I'm okay..."
"Yeah. That's it. You're okay." Kageyama said and gently tapped his shoulder twice. Hinata's breathing returned to normal and he fell asleep on Kageyama's chest, still clutching his shirt. He moved the blankets and made sure both of them were okay before shutting off the TV and lamp.
"Kageyama?"
"Crap. Yes Natsu?"
"Can I please sleep with you and big brother tonight? "
"Of course." He turned the lamp back on and shifted the blankets so Natsu could fit against his side. "There you go. Now, you're going to go to sleep now, okay?"
"Mkay."
He sighed and kissed her forehead. Finally.

Hinata had somehow managed to have Natsu curled up against his chest and himself wrapped around Kageyama's waist. It wasn't an uncomfortable position either, the taller male was actually smiling in his sleep, unconsciously playing with Hinata's hair. The door opened and Hinata's mother walked in, mumbling to herself.
"I swear if I have to deal with another report about some teenager..." She sighed and set her things down, glancing into the living room. She stopped and stared at the three people cuddling on her couch, beaming. Quickly, she pulled out her phone and got closer, taking a picture of the group. "Just a friend my foot..."
She leaned down and picked up her daughter gently, earning a grunt from Shōyō. "Don't..."
Natsu stayed silent while Hinata started to whine at the loss of the little bundle of warmth. Kageyama groaned and opened his eyes slowly, looking down at the boy huddled against him. "Hinata... Shut it..."
He turned on his side and brought the blankets closer to the both of them, easily comforting the boy before he could wake up. Hinata pressed his back against the couch cushions and yawned, smiling slightly before settling down and clutching Kageyama's shirt.
"You two are a lot closer than friends." She covered both of them properly. "Goodnight."

When Kageyama woke up in the morning he held Hinata closer. He was unaware of the fact that Hinata was waking up as well, trying to muster the strength to sit up. But of course Kageyama just HAD to be heavier than him.
"Hey, get up." Hinata mumbled. He pushed on Kageyama's chest and groaned. "Don't be like that Yama."
"Hm? Oh." Kageyama sat up and rubbed his eyes.
"Thanks." Hinata sat up next and leaned over into Kageyama, yawning. "How'd I end up over here?"
"You had a nightmare." Kageyama stated.
"I did?"
"Yeah, you were crying in your sleep." Did he seriously not remember?
"Oh." Hinata chuckled. "Sorry."
"Um… don't get the wrong idea or anything, but are you okay? I'm not asking just because you had a nightmare but you also have acted strange recently. And you're lighter."
"I don't act strange. And I'm light to you because you're a freaking giant compared to me. So hush." Hinata stood and looked back at Kageyama. "Why are you so concerned anyway? Shouldn't you be concerned that we need to get our toss down."
"Shut up dumbass. I was just making sure."
"Whatever. I need to use the bathroom. Ask mom if she'll make you something to eat." Hinata trudged to the hallway, rubbing his eyes.
Kageyama rolled his own and walked into the kitchen. The lady from earlier was at the table, instructing Natsu on something in a book. He stood there, waiting.
When Hinata walked past him into the kitchen he frowned. The older boy got a glass of water and went to the fridge. "Dang Kageyama. Just ask. She doesn't bite."
"I should go home to change." Kageyama bid all three of the others goodbye and walked out.
"He's so weird." Hinata mumbled. He closed the fridge and headed to his room. "Now how did he figure it out?"
