Heart to Heart

"Hey, Piper." Summer is a little startled when she doesn't get a reply, but then she sees her face.
"What happened?"
"A lot. In summary, I don't have a best friend and the boy that I like thinks that I don't care about him."
"That's rough. Do you want to give me the extended version?"
"Finn and I kissed."
"Isn't he-"
"Dating Amy? Yep, he was. And now you think I'm awful."
"No! I don't, actually. I get that you can be caught up in a moment. You didn't mean to hurt Amy."
"Amy doesn't see it that way."
"She's still your best friend."
"Did you listen to the summary?"
"Piper, your best friend doesn't just abandon you when you make a mistake."
"She doesn't want to be in the same room as me. And I can't be with Finn if I know Amy's hurting that much. So he thinks that I don't actually want to be with him anymore. "
"She'll come around. I promise. And you need to talk to Finn. And not just a quick few words because you don't want to be near him."
"But I don't want to. It's painful because I really do want to be with him."
"Tell him that."
"Mmm. Thanks anyway, Summer. How's B-troupe?"
"It's good. We're preparing for nationals. It doesn't feel the same though. I miss you guys." She sighs.
"We miss you too."
"I'm learning to be a better leader. Jude, she really struggles with choreo. I need to find a way to help her."
"What's the issue?"
"She has a hard time with knowing the specific moves and timings." Summer doesn't want to give away that she has dyslexia. That's Jude's private information.
"Why don't you associate parts of choreo with actions that are more easy to process for her?"
"What do you mean?"
"So like, you reach up, and that's picking apples. So Jude just has to remember apples. It sounds crazy, I know."
"You might be on to something, thanks!"
"It's cool. We both probably should go."
"Tell Finn!"
"You're a great leader!"
