I love her more

"It doesn't matter how much I love you, because-"
"How much you what?" How much she what? HOW MUCH SHE WHAT?
"I love Amy more." She finishes. She had to follow through. She's so stupid. Why did she say that? Because it was true. That's why. The best thing for her to do next was leave.
"Piper!" He calls out after her but she pretends not to hear. He knows what he needs to do. Luckily enough he bumps into just who he was looking for in the corridor.
"Hi."
"Really?"
"Please, Amy. I need to talk to you." She frowns but nods. She has to talk to him at some point, why not now?
"I'm sorry."
"It's not you who I'm as mad at."
"You should be. I kissed Piper. By the time she realised that I was, she had pulled away." What? This was new information to Amy.
"It was all me. I confronted her about her feelings. I persisted when she said it didn't matter. I kissed her." Finn? She felt a small pit of guilt in her stomach. She'd been so quick to blame Piper that she didn't even consider this.
"How could you do that?"
"I was overwhelmed. I am so sorry, and I will always be sorry. I'm an idiot."
"I-"
"Amy, I don't just like Piper."
"What?"
"I'm stupid because I thought I did. And I'm cruel for going out with you because some part of my conscience must have known. I am in love with her."
"Is she in love with you?" Amy replies instantly. She is so hurt and so angry, but she can't  ruin her best friend's chance to be with the person she loves. In that moment, she realises. Piper is her best friend. She always will be, no matter how many fights they have.
"I think so."
"Why are you still standing here?" Amy has tears in her eyes.
