"West?" She can't believe her eyes. West?
"Hey, Em."
"What are you doing here?"
"I wanted to drop by. Thought you might miss me." He laughs.
"I -, you thought I might miss you."
"Dancemania advertised that the Next Step was competing on TV. A-troupe aren't going to Nationals. That's something that would seriously irk a fire fairy." Her heart fills with thanks for him. Someone who understands is here. She loved Nick, but he didn't get it. She has to shake off the urge to throw her arms around him.
"Yeah. B-troupe are competing though. And Dancemania could kickstart some careers. So."
"Why don't you tell me about it over coffee?"
"The Next Steep serves tea." Oh, West. He hadn't changed.
"We are not being serviced in that copyright infringement of an establishment!"
She nearly cries.
