Chapter 9: boy hunting

Shaun's Point of View 

after the confession we just talk about our lives, about school and awkwardly my Mom asked me if I have a boyfriend already 

"since you were gay Shaun, do you have your boyfriend now?" Mom said and I groan because she's so nosy and I don't plan on getting a boyfriend yet

"Mom I don't have. I just told you I am gay because I wan't you to know that I am gay, not that I have a boyfriend so i wanna tell you I am gay" I said as I continue savoring my ravioli 

"I was just asking Shaun, you don't have to be stingy. Just tell us first if you have your boyfriend okay sweety" Mom said as she smiled at me teasingly 

I just sighed at my Mom no wonder she's our Mom

"actually Mom he is having a crush on one of my teammates" Yohan said as he wiggled his eye brows so I glared at him, such a nosy prick 

"ohh my who? I remember them having dinner here" Mom said as Dad only just enjoying the thing that Yohan and his wife is making fun of me 

"should I tell them?" Yohan said looking at me with his puppy dog eyes

"dude don't do that eye thing it's so gross when you do it" I said as I fake gag. Yohan just glared at me and that's when I realize I shouldn't do that because he is going to tell them who so I covered his mouth as I looked at him pleading not to tell them, and he just nod at me still my hand where covering his loud mouth, so I sighed and let him go. And I regret believing him because he said Nigel's name , Traitor!

"it's Nigel Jacobs Mom" Yohan said as he looked at me with his evil smile, because of that I punched his arms as he wince in pain but eventually  laughing 

"Nigel?" Mom said as she was thinking who among Yohan's teammates were named Nigel. She clapped her hands as a sign that she remembered

"ohh that so much mannered one, Shaun I like him so I approved him being your boyfriend" Mom said as I groan 

"I don't want him to be my boyfriend Mom" I said as I chuckled at her shocked face like I just revealed a crime that I did

"why not? he was a good kid" she said, and I don't understand her for being so pushy about me and Nigel, other parents will go against their children, but she was just okay with me having him a boyfriend 

I didn't answer her but just laughed at her reaction as she just looked at me with her are you being serious face 

yeah after that dinner we just went to sleep as I was thinking if telling them was a good idea specially when my mom acted that way and I promised that Nigel will never ever going to be in our house again 

"so how was your confession last night?" Ricky said as he swing his arms in my shoulders 

"it was so much worst than I expected it to be" I said with my frustrated voice that caused him to look at me with concern 

"I am sorry man that they didn't understand you, but at least they were still supporting you with your studies" he said as he hugged me trying to comfort me 

Yohan and I just looked at each other and laughed at what Ricky just react. Ricky just looked at us confused 

"why are you laughing!? this is a serious thing man!" he said as he glared at us who is still laughing
