Chapter 6: Play pReTeNd

Shaun's Point of View

the weekend really end like a flash, and just like a flash my heart beat is racing like freaking faster than a 'rari . 

after the talk between me, Yohan and Ricky I somehow felt lighter for telling them and that means I don't have to bottle my feelings up until it explodes. 

And one of the reasons why my heart is beating like a crazy car is because I will have to see Nigel from my first period, how I wish he isn't in my English class. 

I was walking towards my locker alone because the two idiots were having their time of their lives by driving Yohan's car real slow. I was putting my other things as I grab my English book and walk like a freaking retard towards our room. Other students are flashing me smiles as they pass by me and because I am not the snob type of a person I also gave them smiles in return, well it really depends on the person.

as I enter the room I noticed that he wasn't here yet so I guess I can relax my whole system as he wasn't here yet, so I flop my body in my seat as I plug my ear pods in both of my ears as I doze off a little bit. 

I was disturb in my light sleep when someone removed one of my pods causing me to stir a little bit as I adjust myself to my surroundings and so I looked at the person with my sleepy eyes "what do you want?" I said as I go back to my original position which is my head is on the table and closing my eyes so I can continue my sleep

"you might as well wake yourself up Shaun, the class is about to start" Nigel said causing me to widen my eyes as I look at him, and he just chuckled at my reaction as he grab my hands as i was still looking at him with my shocked expression, I was about to ask him my was he holding my hands but he placed one of my pods in my palm as he smiled at me 

"ohh yah. Sorry about  what I have acted awhile ago" I said as I try to calm my crazy heart. "it's okay Shaun I don't mind at all, you look cute with your sleepy look by the way" he said causing me to blush as I scratch the back of my head and chuckled nervously. He was about to say something when our teacher enters the room so he just smiled at me as I just mirrored his expression and forced my self to focus on what our teacher is teaching us.

I was walking towards the gym for our Volleyball practice together with one of my teammates Sam. After our most distracted first period Nigel bid me his farewell as we walk towards our own rooms, and I can't even concentrate into what our teacher is teaching us because my mind continuously drifting back to my seat mate Nigel and it sucks 'cause he constantly caught me when I steal a glace on his face, as he just gave me a gently smile. He might be thinking I have a problem going on in my head, I sighed because I feel so embarrassed remembering what happen awhile ago. 

"Captain did you heard what I said?" Sam said all of a sudden as I looked at him confused "what?" I said as he laughed at me as I just glared at him and giving him my are you freaking kidding me?

"easy there Capt. I was saying something about our practice this day, and I thought you were listening because your face looks like you've been thinking real hard, and I guess you weren't really listening" he said as I glared at him as he just gave me a nervous laugh as he dash out in front of me. I just sighed at what I acted, I just hope he won't ask me about why I was zoning out. 

as I was to enter the gym I saw my brother and Ricky giving me a mischief smiles as I glared at them as I they walked towards my direction "what are you football players doing here in the Volleyball court" I said monotone as I walk towards the locker and started changing to my jersey 

"where just going to watch you play dude" Yohan said to me as Ricky just gave me teasing look, I sighed at them 'cause they were acting childish again "just don't cause bad luck here in the court" I said as I walk out of the locker leaving them laughing 

"Sam lead the team" I said as he nod at me and he move inside of our circle as we started to stretch and after that I commanded the team to do a five round 

as we finish some of the warm ups I throw them some balls as they were to spike it, as I gave them some side comments "Good!, Drake jump higher man!" I said as he answered me a loud "Yes Captain!" 

I was so focused at our training as Yohan jugs towards me "I think you were giving your team a hard time dude why don't you do what they are doing, you were being  unfair to them brother"  Yohan said to me as I glared at him and gave him my are you being so serious? and because of him being unreasonable and because I am so competitive type I walk towards the court to do the drills my team mates were doing awhile ago.

"Sam go to the other side of the court and give me a hard time"  I said loudly so Yohan would hear what I said as he just laughed at my reaction as I just glared at him. Laugh all you want but I am being serious here brother.  

so I was going in the court as Sam did what I said, he throws me balls so I can spike at them, and perform some techniques and I intend to show off so Yohan could see it. 

I was panting when we finish the drills as I throw Sam balls as I signaled him to continue their training as they just nod and I walk towards Yohan with my smug look as he just gave me a proud smile

"No wonder you were the Volleyball team's Captain Shaun" he said as I just shrugged at him and gave him a smirk "I just shown you the basics Yohan" I said as I played it cool, he gave me a mischief look as he knows that I was lying and that what I did back in the court was just a basic moves but it wasn't it was my powerful moves 

"such a show off brother! well someone came to see you by the way" he said as he gave me a teasing smile and nod his head towards my back so I vaguely turn my head towards my back as I saw one of our childhood friend "Migel?" I said with shocked visible in my face as he laughed at my reaction "yah Yohan is right you're such  a show off sometimes" he said as I laugh at him and gave him a warm welcome hug

"yeah I missed you too buddy" he said as  we laughed at what he said
