Chapter 15: End

We are  still in the flashback era XD

The days have past and the two still as sticky as glue. As their class ended the two were beside each other as they were walking towards their parents cars as Cali spotted her Mom who were standing outside their car with Shaun's mother and seems like they were happily chatting 

"MOM!" Cali said as she safely walking towards her mom. Whenever Cali runs Shaun were there to stop her so that she will not hurt herself so now she knows what to do so that she won't get hurt and also Shaun won't get mad at her 

"hey baby, how was your day?" her mom asked as she kissed her child's cheeks 

"it was great mom, me and Shaun were sitting each other starting today!" She said happily 

after that Cali's Mom saw Shaun walking towards them "hey Shaun, how was your day young man" She said smiling as Shaun smiled at her too 

"It was great Mrs. Johnson" he said beaming as he spotted his mom and went to her and kissed her cheeks 

"Mom can Shaun go to our house tonight we will just going to hangout" Cali said to her mother as she is looking at her mother pleading, Mrs. Johnson only smiled as she nod her head and Cali gave her a hug

later that night Cali and Shaun were happily talking beside the pool's area inside the Johnson's mansion 

"you know Shaun, I think I am the happiest girl alive" Cali said as she look at Shaun who is munching his cupcake. Shaun look up to her with some icing on the tip of his cute sharp nose and grinned at her 

"Crazy how I feel the same Cali, I felt like I am the happiest boy kid alive and it's because of you being by my side" Shaun said as he look at Cali's beautiful light brown eyes 

as the two went silent Cali closed her eyes as she looked at Shaun with sad eyes as she wipe the icing on Shaun's nose as she sighed

"What's wrong Cali?" Shaun asked her softly but full with worry as she shook her head and said nothing 

"I don't like seeing you with sadness in your face, please?" Shaun pleaded as he hold Cali's hands and she look up to him 

"S-Shaun..." She started still looking at him nervously 

"I-I'm d-dying ... I have lupus" She said with tears in her eyes, Shaun look at her confused as he shook his head 

"No your not you look perfect" he said as he smiled nervously because of how Cali is acting up she was shaking 

"N-No" Shaun said as he stand up from were he was sitting as he was about to run, but Cali panicked at how Shaun was reacting so she stand wrongly as her body thrown at the pool and because of the noise Shaun stopped from running and went back to see Cali who is now struggling in the middle of the pool. 

He can't move his body because of what is happening so he was just looking at her with tears in his eyes 

"C-Cali" he said with weak voice as he regain his composure and dive into the water were Cali is now in the deep part of the pool, he dive even if he doesn't know how to swim expecting to save her but he was also drowning 

Mr. Johnson heard some weird noise at the pool area of their house as his instinct tells him that something is wrong as he run towards the pool and saw the two children inside the pool. Cali is now not moving while Shaun were weakly struggling.

Mr. Johnson called for help as they were to rescue the two, but it was too late for Cali because she was unconscious when they arrived at the hospital as Shaun were safe and now stable but he's not still awake.

when he awakes he saw his parents looking at him worried with tears in their eyes as well as his twin brother who is looking at him worried 

"C-Cali"  he whispered as they looked at him sadly 

"mom were is Cali?" he said nervously 

"I am sorry Shaun Cali is gone, she didn't get out alive, and the doctor side her lupus went bad, I am sorry" his mom said as she hug Shaun.

"N-No. No mom Cali is alive!" he shouted as he struggle from his mother's embrace 

"N-No" he whispered again as he was filled with tears 

when he was out from the hospital they went straight in Johnson's resident as he saw Cali's body laying in a baby pink coffin that's when he pass out because of how his head hurts as well as his heart breaking at what he saw

"Shaun!" a faint voice were calling him as he open his eyes as he notice he was still inside their pool so he swim towards the end of the pool coughing as he saw Yohan and Ricky's worried face as he look away because he knows that they know what he is thinking 

Shaun's Point of View

I went outside the pool and grab my towel and dried my hair as I sat at the beach chair beside the pool

"What are you two doing here" I asked them while smiling but I guess my eyes betrayed me because they look at me more worried as I sighed and look away towards the pool. I am sorry Cali.

"Shaun it's not your fault it was an accident" Yohan said as he started walking towards me, I looked at him with my deadliest glare 

"You don't know what happen Yohan so stop saying that it was an accident! It is my fault why Cali died I run away from her and I only watched her drown" I shouted failed to contain my emotions 

"Shaun it was an accident and you tried to save her but you just don't know how" Yohan said with calm voice compare to my hysterical state

I just smirk at him angry as I shook my head "Stop saying it was an accident cause it's not! it's my fault Yohan! No one but me! I killed her! if only I just understand her situation at least she was alive up till now" I said tears freed from my eyes as I covered my pathetic crying face, as I was crying myself out I felt Yohan's warm embrace 

"Shaun you need to forgive yourself bro, everyone is worried about you because from the day Cali died you always say it's your fault but we are saying it's not your fault and even Cali's parents, they were thankful to you for making their daughter happy and for attempting to save her even if you can't swim back then. So please for Cali forgive yourself, and I am sure she wanted you to be free again and be truly happy. Please" Yohan said patting my back for comfort as I sob still crying my heart out. 

I am sorry, my first love...
