Nayeon's POV

I sighed as I head downstairs to eat dinner. Seriously, all I do everyday is just wake up, do my morning routine, have breakfast, go to my room, eat lunch, go to my room, eat dinner, go to my room and sleep.

The life I am having g is so boring...

When I arrive at the dining table, I was greeted by Kate who was preparing the table.

"Oh, Your dad wants to talk to you Nayeon." Kate told me while smiling g which made me confused.

"About what?" I asked. "You will find out soon." She said before turning her back to me as I went to my dad's office where he is always in when he is home.

I knocked first on the door when I was already at the office. "Come in." I heard dad said on the other side of the room.

I twisted the door knob and opened the door before entering the room where I found my dad doing some paperwork.

"Kate said you want to talk to me?" I asked. He looked at me and smiled. "Yes. Sit down first." He ordered so I did what I was told.

"What is it?" I asked. He looked down at first and then look back at me with.... Sadness?

"Do you really want to go back?" Dad asked which caught me off guard. "Y-yes." I answered.

He sighed. "I'll give you a year to make things right at Korea. But if you fail, you will come back. Okay?" My dad said which made me shocked.

"A-are you sure?" I asked. He smiled and nodded. "You're lucky. Kate convinced me." He said which made me happy.

I stand up and went to him and give him a hug. "Thanks dad." I said between hugs. "Anytime. Also, I'm so sorry Nayeon." He said.

I pulled him out from my embrace. "It's alright dad." I said happily.

He chuckled. "Let's go down now. Dinner is waiting." Dad said which I just nodded as we both exited his office.

"Dad?" I asked while we were walking through the hallway. "Hm?" He hummed in response. "When will I go there?" I asked. He looked at me. "You can go there tomorrow if you want." Dad asked. I smiled as I shook my head. "I want to spend one more day with you." I said as I wrap my arms around his left arm.

He just laughed and caressed my hair. "Okay kiddo." He said as we arrived at the dining table where Kate is.

I let go of dad and went to hug Kate. "Thanks a lot Kate." I said. I felt her chuckle. "Anytime Nayeonnie." She said as we both let go of each other.

After that, we ate dinner happily. I was so happy that I can finally go back to Korea and see Taehyung again.

After dinner, I head upstairs as I bid good night to Kate and Dad before I entered my room.

I took a quick shower and changed into some PJs and lay down at my bed after.

I grabbed my phone and dialed someone's number.

Jimin...

Jimin and I are friends together with Jungkook and Taehyung before. He is the only one I was in touch with ever since I moved since I want to hear updates about Taehyung.

Yet, it have been a week since we both have talked.

"Hello?" Jimin's voice was hard as soon as he answered the call.

"Jimin! Hi!!" I greeted happily.

"Woah, this is the first time, I have heard you talk happily since forever." Jimin chuckled. I just smiled at him.

"I have big news." I said which made him pause for a while. "What is it? You have a boyfriend already? Why didn't you told me? He needs to pass my reset first!" He said nonstop which made me laugh.

"Yah! Pabo! I don't have a boyfriend." I said while laughing. I heard him sigh in relief. "So, way is the biggie?" He asked.

"I'm going back to Korea!" I said happily. He didn't answer me so I got confused. "Jimin? You there?" I asked.

"Wait, did I got deaf? Or did I heard it right?" He asked. I laughed at him. "You heard it right." I said.

"Waaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!! That is the biggest news I have heard in a long long long time!!!!!!" He screamed through the phone which made me put the phone away from my ear as I laugh at him.

"Hahahahhahah you crack me up." I said. "So, as soon you come back here, you have to go see Taehyung as soon as possible." Hearing my best friend's name makes my heart beat faster.

"Nayeon?" He asked. "I-I'm here." I stuttered. "You're nervous, aren't you?" He asked seriously.

"What do you expect? I haven't seen him in a long time and I never said goodbye to him properly." I said as I hold back my tears remembering how dumb I was before to leave my best friend clueless.

"Well, you have to set aside your feelings first Nayeon. Taehyung needs help." He asked which made me sit up on my bed. "What happened to him?" I asked worriedly.

"He isn't himself these days Nayeon. He is always crying. He started drinking and smoking." He said which made a tear drop from my eye.

This isn't like him...

He always gets mad whenever he sees people drink and smoke... But now, he is doing it...

"Don't worry. I will go to him as soon as possible when I get there." I said.

"Okay. For now, I gotta go now Nayeon. When will you come back?" He asked.

"After tomorrow." I answered. "Okay. See you." He said as he hung up without letting me reply to him.

I sighed and put my phone at the table.

This is all my fault...

But I promise...

I will make things right...

Hang on a little longer Tae...

I sighed and lay back to bed as I thought of the possibilities that can happen once he sees me.

Will he be happy? Sad? Mad? Upset?

What will be his reaction after my confession a long time ago?

Does he remember that?
