Chapter 11

Shawn's pov

"Wait you sing too?!" Camila and I were now sitting at this diner I suggested. I love this place, it not only has a very big selection but the food tastes great and I love the atmosphere here. We were actually done eating now, we talked a lot when we were eating and it's been going awesome so far.

I very much enjoy talking with her, she makes the conversation so smooth and she makes talking with her really comfortable. It's like I never want to stop talking.

We've been talking about what we like and what we don't. She told me how she has an obsession with bananas. She said that she actually has to have a banana with every meal. I just laughed just thinking about it. I mean I like bananas but probably not as much as she loves it.

I also told her about my dislike of tomatoes and she couldn't believe it. "What?! How in the world...how can someone not like tomatoes?! Tomatoes are so good for you, you should try eating them. You know that tomatoes reduces risks of heart diseases and cancer! It is full of vitamin C, potassium and I can go on." She blurted out to me and honestly I was so shocked at how much she knew about tomatoes, but I don't think she's changed my mind about eating tomatoes. The word itself just terrifies me, I can't do anything about it, it just isn't in my blood.

We started talking about music and I was telling her that i sing and it's a passion of mine and that I do too much of it. And now we're here to her telling me that she sings too.

"Yes I do! I've also been singing since a very young age but I never really thought of taking it further. I mean I've always loved photography too, I don't know I'd say I love them both equally."

"When did you realize you wanted to pursue photography as a career."

"I feel like I always kind of knew that I wanted to take pictures my whole life and it's always been a big part of my life and I guess as I've gotten older I realized that I wanted to really do it like seriously. And I also felt like I'd have a much bigger opportunity at photography than music."

"Wow well you're amazing at photography, you're definitely the best and I know that you're equally as good at singing as photography, I'd love to hear you sing sometime." I said smiling, I literally don't doubt that she has an amazing voice.

"Well one day you will." she said chuckling.

"I hope that one day is soon."

"It probably is." she said giggling, I swear she's so cute.

"Do you like kids?" There were these two kids running around and who I'm guessing is their mom chasing them trying to get a hold of them. I got caught staring at them and smiling. Camila probably noticed that and asked me if I liked kids.

"I do, I actually really love them. I think they have the purest hearts and they're just so small and innocent, so precious having no clue how big and scary this world really is and should be protected at all costs." I said turning to her.

"Yeah me too, kids are the light of the world, I absolutely adore them." She said smiling.

"Would you ever want kids?" I asked but suddenly regretting it, will she take it the wrong way, I'm obviously just curious if she ever considered having kids.

"Yeah I have one already and I'd definitely love to have more in the future."

"Oh you have kids already?" I asked kind of surprised.

"Yeah I do, I have a daughter, she's honestly my everything, I don't know what I'd do without her." Well she has a kid, I love that actually, does that mean she's in a relationship?, no Shawn, if she was she wouldn't be here with you right now, but no cause this is just a friendly date, what the heck.

"Are you okay?" she said waving her hands in front of my face.

"Uh yeah sorry, I didn't know you had a kid."

"Oh does that bother you?" Why would she even think that.

"No ofcourse not, I actually love that, how old is she?"

"She's four, she actually just turned four a couple of weeks ago." she said smiling.

"Ah that's amazing, I'd love to meet her someday, she's probably just as beautiful as her mom." I said causing her to blush.

"Thank you, she's honestly really beautiful, she's so smart, she's amazing."

"I'm not surprised, what's her name?"

"Her name's Rose."

"Wow that's such a beautiful name, I love it."

"Yeah I picked it, I think it's perfect for her, she's my little Rose." she said all cutely.

"Well you did an amazing job at picking it."

"So you're a mom eh, no wonder you knew all about tomatoes and all its benefits." I said making us both laugh.

"Yeah I'm such a mom." she said still laughing.

"Yeah a very beautiful one."

"Oh my God Shawn, stop flirting." she said turning red.

"I'm not flirting, I'm just telling the truth." She was so cute when she blushed, she's cute in everything she does. She's just a very cute person.I kind of wanted to ask her so bad if she was in any sort of relationship. I mean she has a kid, maybe she's with Rose's dad but I don't think so but it's not right to judge a book by its cover so I prepared myself to ask her, or not.
