Chapter 15

Camila's pov

We were now in the car and I honestly really wanted to know what my parents and Shawn were talking about or if they even had time to since I clearly interrupted them but I'm kind of glad i did,my dad would've probably given Shawn a whole speech, I guess he just wants me to be happy and not go through the same thing again.

"Are you okay?" I guess Shawn noticed that something was on my mind.

"Yeah I'm fine, what did you think of my parents and Rose?"

"Oh they're all amazing, I think it went well,I mean,I hope,and I'm gonna be honest, Rose is the cutest kid ever,she's adorable, and she honestly looks a lot like you,beautiful." He said as he turned to look at me with a smile. I swear his smile does things to me.

"Thank you and same,I think they like you."

"You do?"

"Yeah i mean, I'm gonna be honest with you, they already did before meeting you, especially my mom and Rose, and also sorry about my mom, she's something else."

"No she's amazing actually and hilarious, I love her." I chuckled along with him.

"Well, she'll be so happy hearing that, she's a fan."

"Really?, I didn't know that."

"Yeah," I said giggling, "can I turn the volume up?"

"Yeah sure." I turned the volume up and leaned back in the seat as the soft music played, then I realized what song was playing, it had just started and I love this song a lot, it makes me so emotional and so I got lost in the song while singing and I forgot that Shawn was in the car right next to me.

Shawn's pov

Camila turned the volume of the radio up and " A Thousand Years" by Christina Perri started playing, she started singing it and I was honestly shocked at how beautiful she sounded. She has the most beautiful voice and I don't think I could ever get enough of it.

I'll love you for a thousand more" as the song played and i listened to the lyrics and what it meant, i started to realize how much I relate to it at the moment.

I joined Camila in as the second verse came on.

this was exactly describing my feelings towards Camila,I want her to be mine and I never want to let go. She now opened her eyes startled to hear my voice joining hers and turned her gaze to me. The both of us now smiling at each other.

3rd person pov

Their faces were inches apart as they were getting ready to sing the last part of the song,

They were so close their noses were brushing against each other, both of them unknowingly leaning into each other. The closer they got the more they wanted it and both Camila and Shawn were full of anticipation as their lips finally met each other in an electrifying kiss that made them feel everything. Butterflies swamped their stomachs as the kiss intensified. Both of them have been wanting this for a really long time and the kiss was so strong they could feel the love they both had for each other through it.

But they heard a honk coming from behind them right when they were about to take the kiss further interrupting their little make out session in the car. They pulled away still in a daze after the kiss they had just shared. They didn't really talk about it on the way there but neither of them could hide the smiles that crept up on their faces, Shawn had his eyes on the road throwing cute little glances towards her every now and then and Camila looked out the window smiling so hard her face was starting to hurt, they hoped things wouldn't get awkward after the kiss,that's the last thing they both wanted tonight, but both doubted that it would.
