Chapter 10

Camila's pov

I woke up after an interesting and peculiar dream, well not really I've already dreamed of this once and it happened again. I just don't get why I keep having this dream and the same man appearing everytime. This particular man in it looks so familiar like almost as if i've seen him before.

As I think about it profusely, trying so hard to figure out where I've seen him before, oh my goodness, i know who it is, it's Shawn, wait what. Shawn Mendes? Why would he out of everyone be in a dream of mine and not only that, Rose calls him "daddy" and he kissed me and what the actual fuck.

Okay calm down Camila, you're doing the most right now. Think rationally, he's a model, he's famous and well known so it's probably because you've seen him in the media before but no that's not it. Cause I didn't even know much about him. Uhm well this is weird.

It's not like I'm a creep and stalk him on Instagram or anything, at least before meeting that is. Call me weird but when I got home after the shoot I actually went on his Instagram profile and kind of stalked him. I mean stalking is a strong and scary word so maybe just uh I was just looking at some of his pictures and stuff, not too much or anything.

Anyways the point is I'm so confused about my dreams and Shawn and me and life. I don't even know the guy like that. He didn't call me yet and honestly I'd like to say it didn't bother me but it kind of did. I wanted to see him again so bad but he probably doesn't feel the same way seeing he hasn't called me or anything.

But I just let that go and tried to forget about it, it's nothing, and I was making a way too big of a deal out of it. But that's me, I'm super dramatic and just too much for my own good. My family can't even handle me sometimes. And that's to say a lot.

So that happened yesterday and like i said i forgot about it. Next day came around, it was Friday and I decided to go to a local bookstore of mine that I go to not too often but I decided to try it this time. I actually enjoy reading a lot like it's a distraction from reality and it's so much fun. I'd definitely consider myself a bookworm and I don't care what people thought about it.

And then the unexpected happened. Shawn happened to be there too, coincidence or what. I was a little startled seeing him, he came up to me and honestly it was so nice seeing him again. We were talking about books and I honestly forgot about him being in my dreams.

I'm so glad I did, i don't want things getting awkward, so far we haven't really been awkward around each other, so reminiscing me realizing that Shawn was the mysterious, handsome man in my dreams would've definitely made it something I did not want to encounter.

He ended up asking me out, he asked me if I wanted to get lunch with him the next day which would be Saturday and I ofcourse accepted. He actually looked so nervous asking me out, it was such a cute sight to behold.

Saturday came by really quickly. I had asked my parents to stay with Rose and I was obligated to tell them that I was going out with Shawn. My mom ofcourse freaked out and I swear she's way more excited than I am. I'm like pretty chill about it. "Oh my goodness, you're going on date?! No lo puedo creer,mis oraciones han valido la pena.(I can't believe it!, my prayers have payed off.)" she said and honestly I don't know if I can call this a date, i don't even know what this is.

It's just two people who barely know each other going out for lunch trying to know each other better and hopefully become friends. I'd love to get to know him better and become close friends. From what I've seen so far he seems like a pretty chill and fun person. But you never know someone's true identity. I'm hoping to figure it out.

I dropped Rose off and drove to the restaurant which Shawn sent me the location to yesterday night. It's actually a pretty nice space, it's so cute and cozy, I love it so far. When I got there I saw Shawn sitting at one of the tables having no clue that I just got here.

He was just staring out the window minding his own business. I walked up behind him and tapped his shoulders "hi."

"Heyy." he looked up at me smiling.

I sat down and so the rendezvous begins, I'm curious as to how this will go,one thing I knew was that I'm nervous and kind of scared, I'm not quite sure of what but I was. Maybe it was the dream situation? I don't know, I hope everything goes smooth though.
