Chapter 14

"Hey."

"Hii."

"You look really beautiful." Camila was wearing a long sleeved red dress with a ruffled,plunging neckline that perfectly shows her cleavage. She wore a pair of silver strappy heels with it, and her long brunette hair was up in a ponytail.

"And you look very handsome." Shawn wore black skinny jeans with a dark red silky button up shirt with roses printed on that was also long sleeved along with his usual black boots.

"Okay are you ready? Rose has been dying to meet you, she's literally been waiting for you to get here for the past hour or so." Camila said smiling recalling her daughter's excitement earlier.

"Really?!"

"Yeah!"

"Well I'm really excited to meet her too,I've been waiting for this."

"I know, come on." she took his hands in hers leading him to the house. Which made them both feel things,every touch sent shivers down their spines. But they tried to just ignore that.

When they walked in the house they found Rose standing there already waiting for them, they could clearly see how excited she was.

"Okay Rose, this is Shawn, Shawn this is Rose."

"Hey Rose, I've heard amazing things about you." he said kneeling down to reach her height.

"Hi Shawn, wow you're so..so..giant, why." she said looking at Shawn truly amazed at how tall he is and this caused him to laugh.

"Well I don't know, I guess I just am."

"Wow your hand is big too, mama look at Shawn's hands, it's way too big." She said taking a hold of Shawn's huge hands which were so big compared to her tiny ones.

"Yeah baby I see."

"Wow you're adorable." Shawn chuckled at Rose.

"No you are, you have a tattoo?!" Rose suddenly got distracted at Shawn's swallow tattoo on his hand.

"Yeah I have a few actually, this one's a bird."

"Wow that's so cool."

"Do you like it?"

"Yeah I love it."

"Oooo is this one a guitar?!" She asked spotting Shawn's guitar tattoo now. She honestly sounds adorable,especially the way she pronounces some words.

"Yeah it's a guitar and it has like the Toronto skyline right there, which is where I'm from," he said showing Rose on his arm "and these sound waves are from my parents and sister saying I love you."

"Wow that's beautiful." Said Camila,she thought it was really cute and adorable and very creative actually.

"Thank you." he said giving her the cutest smile that made her knees weak but she smiled back and played it cool.

Shawn was still busy looking at Camila when he felt something touch his hair, he turned around to Rose running her fingers through his silky,soft,beautiful brown curls. "What are you doing?" Camila asked Rose with a stern look.

"Shawn's hair looked so soft and curly,I really wanted to touch it,I'm sorry." she said removing her hand from Shawn's hair apologetically.

"No it's okay,really." Rose was hands down the most adorable kid he has ever met and he hasn't spend much time with her yet but she's already matching up to how Camila described her to be. He just hasn't been able to stop chuckling and smiling at the 4 year old.

"Camila- ay Dios mio, is this Shawn?!" Sinu feigned shock, she did know that Shawn was already there but she let him have his moment with Rose before coming out to meet him. She was pretty excited to meet the guy her daughter was always talking about,going out and literally falling in love with. Yeah Camila has told Sinu that she has feelings for Shawn and that they came up not long after, well, yeah right after meeting him.

Shawn was one of a kind cause Camila wasn't the kind to give in easily and she always let her guard up and Sinu and Ale knew this so Shawn must be "el principe Azul" (prince charming) as they say in Spanish, that's come to save the princess aka Camila from the single and lonely club and show her what true love is really like. And hopefully (if things go right) also accepts and loves Rose (as his own) and shows her how a dad works and treats their child. That'd be awesome and everyone ends up happy and content. But most of the time that only happens in movies and fairytales and life is nothing like that but it could be,depending on the people starring in it. And being that Shawn is literally everything, maybe the fairytale could come true.

"Yeah mamá,papá this is Shawn," Ale has now also joined them where they were currently situated. "Shawn these are my parents." Shawn now stood up straight on his feet for the introduction and he couldn't lie, he was nervous as fuck but he tried to look as calm as possible. He really didn't want to mess this up because he wants to give a good impression on her parents because he knew that he wanted to be part of their lives.

"Hi Ms. Cabello." he said as he reached his hand out to hers but Sinu instead pulled him in for a hug.

"Hi mijo,you can call me Sinu or mamá." he felt better when she hugged him and he wasn't expecting the Cuban woman to be as short as she was, she was very short,as short as or even shorter than Camila which was surprising to him.

He went to greet Alejandro with a handshake and it was firm but also very welcoming.

"Before you say anything,you can call me Alejandro,that's my name or you can also call me Ale." he said smiling and Shawn was grateful for this. Because he was looking at him with quite a serious look before and it kind of scared him for a moment but his serious expression turned into a warm and welcoming smile short after.

"But I have to say though,you are pretty tall."

"Yeah! And also even better looking than in pictures." said Sinu making Shawn laugh.

"Mamá,oh my goodness." Camila was definitely expecting this so she wasn't so surprised.

"What it's the truth!" (OMG Ale standing over there like :👁👄👁)

"It's so nice to meet you guys,honestly, thank you for making Camila,she's an amazing person and I'm so happy to had have met her." Shawn told Sinu and Ale as Camila was busy with Rose, he really meant it.

"Aww that's so sweet."

"Yeah,well you better treat her right,please do, she's our-"

"Okay are you guys done talking? Cause we have to go." Camila came in right when Alejandro was going to give Shawn a little speech about how important Camila is to them and the rest of what ties up with that.

"Not really but i'm sure we can finish some other time."

"Yeah Shawn actually we would love to have you over for dinner soon,only if you want ofcourse."

"Yes I'd love to." they said their goodbyes and left to whatever Shawn had planned for the night but ofcourse not before Alejandro indesputably told Shawn to take care of his daughter. And that ofcourse is Shawn's number one priority as well as making her happy and making sure she has an amazing time tonight. He was also pretty nervous about asking her to be his girlfriend and he sure as heck hoped that nothing would come in the way and impede the moment she finally agrees to be with him.
