Title Capitalization Rules

Hindi ko alam kung nag-notif sa inyo 'yung mga pinaggagawa kong update sa mga title ng parts nitong Little Random Crumbs, pero iyon nga ang ginawa ko, binago ko ang ilang letter casing ng ibang parts nito.

May rulings pala kasi. Kaloka. Akala ko kada first letter ng bawat salita sa title ay uppercase, hindi pala ganoon.

According sa aking research, heto ang mga basic rules:

- The first and last word of a title must be capitalized.

Example:
- A Time to Kill
- East of Eden

- Do not capitalize articles (a, an, the) unless they're the first or last word

Example:
- The Sound and the Fury
- A Time to Kill
- Alone on a Wide, Wide Sea

- Do not capitalize short prepositions (three letters or fewer)
- Prepositions by the way are those (on, in, at, to, etc.) Hindi kasama ang etc!

Example:
- A Passage to India
- The House of Mirth

- Do not capitalize short coordinating conjuctions (or, and, but, for)

Example:
- Rosemary and Rue
- No Country for Old Men

The rest of the part of speeches (nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs) are capitalized, based sa research ko.

Though there are a lot of format existing for title capitalizations, ito raw mostly ang basic rules. If you want to learn more, you could visit my source of information:

Or you could just click the external link para mas madali.

If nabasa mo na iyon pero hindi ka pa rin confident kung paano ito gawin, don't worry. There's an online tool for it. Go check capitalizemytitle.com.

Why do I know about this? Medyo tamad kasi akong mag-isip. Ginamit ko rin kasi iyang tool na iyan kanina. Malay ko ba kasi kung preposition ba or conjunction 'yung word na sinususpetya ko?

Anyway, I hope that helped.
