Realizing

Saint woke up wrapped in his boyfriend's arms the next morning. He slowly untangled himself and went down to prepare breakfast. But someone had already done it and even left a note on the table. 

"Here is some breakfast for you both, eat well and rest well. Love you two, Mom"

Saint ate first, he knew that Zee would wake up a while later. He then scrolled through twitter, retweeting some dharma quotes. Big had announced a future PerthMark FM in Japan, planned for after valentine's day. Saint smiled, he knew about it since Mark told him about the "series" he and Perth would film soon. Their series will come out in December. So it was Natural for Big to start promoting them as a ship. 

He saw his couple fans pressuring Big about it and asking for a PerthSaint event instead. He didn't dig in Deeper when he heard footsteps. Zee was awake and since Saint had no work today, he was going to leave his phone out of his sight and spend most of his day with his adorable boyfriend. 

Breakfast done, they headed to the temple. Of course, Zee had to try and hide a bit so that fans wouldn't see them together, he didn't want to add more fuel to the whole twitter fiasco and drama already happening. So when he spotted a few fans who seemed to have recognized Saint, he slowly moved aside leaving Saint to deal with that. 

On their way back they brought some snacks to watch a movie at home. They put Iron man 3, Saint saw it so many times. He knew all dialogues by heart. Saint was laughing so freely and Zee couldnt help but smile along. 

However, peace never lasted for too long. The sound of Saints ringtone started echoing in the room. Zee took the call and put it on speaker as Saint snuggled closer to him for a hug.

"Hello Phi" Saints hesitation could be felt in his voice.

"Nong, I have an event for you with Perth, it's a couple one" 

"Really? Nice! when is it?" his voice didn't sound as excited anymore. In comparison to before, now when he hears he has a job with Perth it doesn't make him that happy. He is tired of everything. He just wants to move on now.

"That's the thing....it's on valentine...are you okay?"

Saint looked up at Zee, hesitant to answer, usually he would spend that day with Zee watching silly romantic movies on the bed and making out. Zee smiled and nodded, his hand slowly drawing patterns on Saints back as comfort.

"Do it love, it's okay" He whispered

"Yes Phi, It's okay"

"Good nong, then I'll let you rest, see you tomorrow!"

"Thank you Phi, see you"

"Nong" P'Chen's voice suddenly came out of the phone before Saint could hang up

"Yes?"

"There is another project coming up for you soon, fighting, this is soon over"

"thank you P'Chen! what is that project about?"

"It's a secret for now, it's still under discussion, I'll tell you more tomorrow"

"Okay"

The line was cut before he could ask anything else but seeing the knowing smile Zee had, Saint connected the dots quickly. 

"It's you right?" Saint accused Zee pointing his index finger at him.

"What about me?"

"it's the project you said, your plan?"

"I don't know what you mean sir" Zee looked clueless

"Why did you smile then?"

"Because I'm happy you'll have another project that's all"

"Hmm"

Saint finally gave up and snuggled closer to Zee. He doesn't really care, right now he just wants to enjoy the evening with his boyfriend.

The following day, Saint met Chen at the office with his mother. They discussed some contracts and arranged Saints schedule for the upcoming month.

Later, Saint spend the afternoon with his singing coach. He trained all afternoon. While he was packing to leave around 6pm, a knock on the door stopped him.

Zee and Joss came to pick him up. Even tho he was happy Saint still tried hiding his smile.

"Why are you hiding ?" Joss was the one breaking the silence.

"What do you mean ?" Saint answered

"Both of you should not hide your closeness to people. Let them see you're friends at least what's so wrong with that?"

"You know we can't, not now" Saint said with a hint of sadness in his voice.

Zee took him by the shoulders "it won't be forever like this. I promise "

Saint just smiled at him and the three of them went back home.

Days passed rather quickly and soon enough it valentines day. Saint woke up in the morning with a knot in the stomach. He was stressed out and he didnt know exactly why.

He should be happy to have an event and to be able to work but somehow his enthusiasm is long gone, replaced with a bitter feeling.

That doesn't stop him from getting ready and waiting for Chen to fetch him.

During the event he did his best to be playful and to tease Perth. Fans needed to be convinced that everything was fine when both hadn't talked for a while already. However when perth claimed to be a tiger and said that Saint was his prey the "deer" he refused it.

He immedistely told them that if Perth is a tiger then he will be the dragon. No one can be stronger than a dragon. At that moment he decided he will stop being the weak Pete everyone wanted him to be. The serie is over, pete is long gone. He is Saint and Saint is a strong boy.

Later at night, when he was lying in his empty bedroom he thought about how this event reminded him that he doesnt have to be Pete anymore. He shouldn't play a weak boy for the sake of keeping his fans.

From now on, I'll be Saint. If they leave me, I can always restart from scratch right?

Saint layed in bed thinking about it until next morning. Waking up alone to an empty house was weird. But Zee was on a Domundi trip and Saint needed some time alone so it was a perfect timing.

New resolutions in head, he went through a couple of new series proposals and some request for interviews while drinking his morning coffee.

If he wanted to be independent of any ship, he had to start building his career outside of his ship. He was ready for this new battle.

A cup of coffee and few emails later, he was relaxing on his sofa when he saw that Zee had posted an IG story last night.

He clicked on it and to his surprise he saw his own face on the screen. Zee watched LBC and let the world know it. Saint replayed the story a few times, wanting to check that his boyfriend did actually tell fans that he was watching Saints show.

He then replied to the story,
"PHI what's this??? Did you just lose your mind???😳😳"

I took some time off from sns, writing, reading ect.. lol
