"Ohhh shit! I am going to be late for my first day at work."  I said while hitting the wheel.

The drivers are pressing on their car horn as if the traffic will open. Seriously my ears really hurt me now, I think I will have a headache. Hughh

I managed to reach the company on the time thank god. I ran towards the receptionist, she gave me a friendly smile.

I looked carefully at her id but unfortunately, I couldnt read it as I cant catch my breath.

"My name is Isabella, how can I help you?" Isabella asked.

"Hi Isabella ,my name is Scarlett you can call me scar, so I am the new personal assistant of Mr. Valentino, how could I get to his office?"

She nodded and grabbed a paper then wrote something in it I was looking at her wondering what is she doing Im gonna be late.

"So,this is how you get there and dont look at me like that you gonna thank me later bye" She said while laughing I gave her a small smile as if she is a weirdo then left.

I looked at the paper with wide eyes wondering how many floors in this company. How many workers in this building to have so many floors like this.

I start running to the lift until suddenly I hit something hard like a rock.

"Ohh sorry, I am soo sorry" I said while scratching my forehead.

"you should look were you are going next time." He said in a cold voice.

"Arrogant man." I muttered while I turned without looking at him to get into the other lift.

"excuse me what did you say!" He said.

I turned and looked at him. "I think you heard me when I said that you are arrogant, oh let me correct that you are a jerk, okay! Now bye Mr. arrogant" I said while giving him my back to catch the lift.

Okay today I am kind of late like five minutes and insulted someone, he looked very handsome he had ocean eyes and black hair licked to back with a very good figure.

I got to the office after two minutes, I should thank Isabella at lunch if I didnt get fire. I mentally rolled my eyes.

I saw a door at the end the hallway and written on it CEO.I knocked on the door, a familiar cold voice "god please dont let it be true." I let out a whisper pray.

"Get in said" the cold voice.

I opened the door, I walked to the desk and I saw Mr. arrogant from before, oh no.

I stared at him with wide eyes "You know its rude to stare right?" he chuckled.

"Oh no please not Mr. arrogant" I talked to myself.

"Yes it is me Mr. Arrogant" he glared.

"Oh hell! Did I say that loud stupid Scarlett you are stupid." I mentally cruised myself.

"Are you done staring, miss....?" he asked without looking at my face reading the files. Such a rude guy.

"Wright, Scarlett Wright your new assistant but sir you can call me Scarlett" I said.

"You're fifteen minutes late Miss Wright" he said after glancing to his wrist watch.

"Sorry sir, it wont happen again." I apologized.

He nodded then pressed on the intercom.

"Mrs. William may you come here" he said with a deep voice.

"You may have a seat." He told me without looking to my face reading the files.

"Thank you Mr. Valentino" I said.
