After Erics proposal to Alex about 2 weeks. I kept investigating about Scarlets life though I tried several times to bring up her name in front of Ethan but he either changed the subject or say that she used to have a hard college year.

I knew from we were from high school that they have had hard life but he never mentioned what happened to both of them or he never introduce her to me.

But I didn't give up I asked Eric about her. He told me that he knew a few things about her but it's not his place to talk about it.

So I decided to call my private investigator to get me information about her.

After two months of searching my private investigator couldn't find any information beside what I already know. I kept calling him to stress him about finding information.

I was sitting in my office doing some work it was 11 oclock. My phone rang I looked at the caller ID it was my private investigator Danny.

"Adam Valentino speaking."

"Good morning sir its Danny."

"Good morning Danny. Any news?"

"Yes, I will sent it to you via fax. May you wait a second?"

I waited in front of the fax and some papers got out. I took the papers in my hand and took a look at it there was photos of Scarlett of her childhood and her teenage years and some of her college years but there are some of her high school years are missing.

"I got the papers."

"Sir everything from her childhood till her teenage years was abusing. Her stepfather used to abuse her and her brother as well after her mothers death. Her mother died by a car accident."

"What happened to her stepfather?" my blood boiled when I knew that her father used to abuse her.

"I don't know but she managed to run away from him with her brother and it seemed like her stepfather disappeared for a while."

"I want you to know every information about her stepfather after what happened he did to her."

"I will do my best."

"So what about her college year."

"Sir, she got in London's university. Her real bachelor degree is business. But she decided to change her university to another university in Manchester city. It seemed like she was escaping because after she had changed universities there was no photos for her in the year book. Something seemed suspicious as part of her high school she was a bit chubby."

"Why did she return back to London if she seemed like running from someone?"

Actually sir that question is from the questions that I didn't get to reach it up until now. She has a lot of secrets that her brother seemed to hide very well. As well Ethan had hidden a lot of his past too."

"What about their sister Sarah?"

"There is nothing about her. Everything about her is buried as if they want to protect her from someone."

"Okay Danny. I want you to know everything about the people around them at the past and now."

"Okay sir I will get the information as soon as possible."

After we end the conversation Scarlet entered my office saying that there is a meeting with the finance in ten minutes.

"Okay Miss Wright take my laptop and the files except the yellow file." While she was going to desk to take the things, I remembered the file that Danny sent to me was still on my desk. I ran to drop the glass that were on the table next to the couch. The sound of the smashing starlet her that gave me the time to take the file before she saw it.

"Call the cleaner to clean the mess." I said in a hard voice. She just nodded her head.

I took the file and put it in the drawer and lock it in.

"Sir, do I have to come to the meeting with you?" she asked.

"Do you have problem in that? If you can't fulfil your job you can leave." I said in a cold tone.

"Sir, its not like that. It's just—." I cut her

"Then what is like Miss Wright?" I shouted slightly. She closed her eyes and sighed as if she was trying to be calm which made me regret shouting at her.

"Its that, that stupid Mr. Frank were always eyeing me the whole meeting last time. You know what I mean?" she was trying to reason me.

I started to take steps towards her but every step I take forward her she took a step back. I kept closing the distance between us until her lower body hit the desk I leaned forward but she leaned backwards yet giving me hard confused face then her eyes started to look everywhere but me.

"Do you thing that I care about a bitch you are? Shouldn't a whore like you like the idea that every fucking man on this earth eyeing her?" I said while roughly grabbing her chin, bringing her ear to my mouth and whispering in a hard tone.

I pushed her face a little and took a few steps apart from her.

"I think at least you won't like to lose your job and become jobless and worthless bitch."

She looked me in the eye giving me a very angry face.
