Chapter 25

The week before Adam saw them.

(Scarlet POV):

I woke up at 10 in the morning from my phone's ringtone. I looked at it to see who is calling me this early on my weekend. It was Jonas.

"Ugh, i want to sleep why is he calling me in the early morning." I say while rolling myself on the bed with frustration.

"Hello!" I say with a sleepy voice.

"Hi scarlet. Did i wake you up?" He asked.

"What do you think!" I said with rudeness.

"Sorry to wake you up but i want to talk to you." He said with worried tone.

"Talk about what?" I asked while sighing.

"About us."

"What about us! We are fine."

"No scar we are not fine."

"Okay Jonas let's meet up after an hour and half." I said

"Okay I'll pick you up."

"No i have to do something first then i will meet you up at Starbucks that one next to your company." I said

"Okay as you say." He said then we closed the line.

"Okay now i have half an hour to sleep." I said placing my head on the pillow taking a comfortable position to sleep. After 5 minutes my phone rang again. I took it in my hand without looking for the ID caller.

"What!" I shouted.

"Scarlet calm down it's me Fefe your lawyer." She said with confusion.

"Sorry fefe. I was just sleeping it is my weekend and everyone kept calling me so i got angry for not having a chance to sleep." I said so quickly from irateness.

"Okay scar i am sorry for waking you up from your pretty sleep." She laughed at me and i laughed with her.

"Anyway why did you call me? No like i am complaining at all you are from my closest friend."

"Yes i called you to tell you tomorrow is the final sentence for your step father." She said

"I wish he would end up in jail for life." I said shaking

"I hope that so but don't worry he would never hurt you again." She said trying to confront me.

"Thank you Fefe for what you've done for me until this moment." I said gladly.

"No need for this at all."

"Tomorrow we have to be in the courthouse at 9" she said.

"Okay see you then." We closed the line.

I looked at the clock i still have 10 minutes to sleep but then i looked at Sarah i forgot that Alex at her parents house and Ethan is busy with his work so i have to take her with me to see Jonas.

I got up and went to the kitchen to do some breakfast for us after I've finished i went back to my room to wake Sarah up.

"Hey baby wake up. I have made you pancakes with strawberries and chocolate." I said she opened her eyes wide then jumped from the bed before she could ran to the dining room i caught her from her pyjama's t-shirt pulling her towards the bathroom.
