"No one..?" "Anyways, When did you come?" Yena diverted the topic and he simply shrugged in response.
"No work?" "Oh fuck!" Yena looked down at her watch- eyes wide open realizing that she was half an hour late for the part time job.
"I-" "No, I'm not going to drop you" "No, I was saying- I'm going alone" "What? No you are not—" "Just once, nothing's gonna happen" Yena shrugged chugging a glass of water before turning around.
"Yea, at max you'll just die" "Oh please stop with your jokes about me dying- it's not funny" "Don't expect me to pic-" "Yea yea, you'll send Mark instead I know" Yena exited his house leaving him surprised by her words as to how she knew he was the one who had asked Mark to pick her up the other day.

"Shit, that was close" Chenle huffed our air, placing his hand on his heart that quickened upon simply seeing her smile- his mind replaying the scene and his lips broke out into a small smile, unknown to him, a strange feeling that built up in him despite trying to hold himself from it.

And those words sent his heart lurching and he could feel his breath get stuck in his throat, gut wrenching as every gulp burned his insides, mind flashing the memories of his past that lingered deep down in him- almost feeling the whole world come to a stop by hearing his mere words.
