Day three-
It has been three whole days since the girl was lying unconscious on the hospital bed, barely showing any movement- just the machines and the tubes supporting her body to function, to keep her alive.
"It's all healed, I'll take off the bandage but you need to continue with the medications" The doctor spoke, unwrapping the bandage around his neck before applying an ointment.
"Don't stress on your body much Mr. Zhong" Chenle gave a small nod- not bothering about himself at the moment, quickly exiting the room before making his down the familiar hallway.
Chenle sighed out as he sat down on the chair nearby- face buried in his hands, deeply lost in his own thoughts.
He couldn't seem to bring himself back to normal, all he was concerned was about the girl- minutes passed into hours and to days yet there was no improvement in the girl's health condition.
"Don't worry, she'll be out safe" The nurse said and he questioned himself the same words- Will she be out safe? And the answer to that question was still up in the air.
"It has been 3 days and I don't see any progress.." "I... I'm scared" He whispered out, blinking away his tears before looking up at the elder women who shook her head, saying he was wrong.
"She's a strong girl, she'll fight to live, for you at least" She gave him a smile but he couldn't seem to reflect her actions- mentally and physically he felt numb, he didn't know her absence would have this huge impact on him.
"You haven't left the hospital since the first day, go ba—" "No, I'm fine" "At least have some food in the cafeteria" "She's all that matters to me right now. She's my only family, please save her" Chenle replied and she gave a nod assuringly before walking inside the room.

Day six-
Sitting down on the chair that was placed beside her bed, his emotionless eyes stared into the girl who was lying unconscious- cuts and bruises littered on her skin, tubes supporting her life and the continuous beeping sound of the machine indicated she was still breathing.
At least she was still alive.. Or that's what he convinced himself to believe.
"Yena.." He began- his low deep voice pierced through the serenity as he gulped down the huge lump in his throat, tears welling up in his own eyes upon seeing her.
"It feels so lonely without you," "The same way I felt when my parents died.." He paused, wiping the tears with the back of his hand- rage and sadness building up in him, his fingers itching to destroy every ounce of the killer who put her in this state but nevertheless he couldn't stop musing over the girl, he was drowned in his own thoughts that revolved around her.
"You won't leave me like my parents did, will you?" His own question pained him- mind endlessly thinking of possibilities and the worst of what could happen but he couldn't stop thinking negative, cause he had nothing to keep his hopes on- he wasn't even sure is she would be out alive.
A part of him was loosing hope, unsure if she could even make it alive..
"Please don't leave me alone love—" Chenle paused, standing up alarmed at the beeping sound that abruptly intensified and he panicked seeing her chest rise and fall heavily, his feet immediately rushing out of the room, calling for the doctor and nurse.
"Please stay out" The doctors said and the sound of the door closing behind him clearly audible as he dragged his feet towards the wall, leaning against it- his eyes aimlessly looking around while his mind pondered over what could have happened to her.
"Her oxygen levels are dropping, quick!" Was all he heard and his heart went lurching, fists clenching by his side as he looked down at the floor, biting on his lower lip trying to cease his cries while he convinced himself she would be alright.
Would she really be alright?
The sudden silence inside worried him and just then the door flung open making him turn to face the doctor.
"How is she? What happened to her?" "She's fine right? Please tell me she is!" Chenle pleaded out, desperate to know her condition but seeing the elder's face that held no emotion he stepped back- almost stumbled back, trying his best to deny on what was to come.
Please don't leave me alone love..
"Don't hold your breath, the situation's running out of our hands Mr. Zhong"
