CHAPTER 22

*2 weeks later*

Elena POV
I was on my way to pick up Mateo with Kairi. Me and Kairi had been talking for awhile. It has almost been 3 months since I talked to Mattia, i was sorta happy that I was able to avoid him. We arrived at Jordyns house and I knocked on the door. She opened the door with joy spread across her face to see me. I saw Mateo run up to me and I pick him up and hugged him.

Jordyn: hey Elena!

Mateo: Mommy!!!

Elena: I missed you baby, hey jordyn

Kairi: ill be in the car

Elena: k

I walked inside of Jordyns house and sat on the couch, with Mateo on my lap.

Jordyn: how have you been?

Elena: okay, just depressed some moments then im fine the next

Jordyn: well I hope you can recover very soon and if you need anything im always....20mins away

Elena: thanks ill see you next week I guess

Jordyn: bye

Elena: bye

Me and Mateo walked back out the car , i strapped him in his car seat and Kairi was on his phone. I was driving in silence, it was kinda awkward but manageable. We arrived back at hone with Kairi and Mateo was sleeping in the back. I took him out of his car seat carefully and me and Kairi walked in the house. Once I put Mateo in his bed  I went to drink water.

Elena: hey Kai, im going to take a shower I'll be back

Kai: okay

I was in the shower and it felt really nice. The thought of Mattia was going through my head but in a good way not in a sad way. As i stepped out i couldnt see myself because the mirror was all fogged up. I wiped the mirror off with my towel and continued to dry off. Once I was done I put on some lotion and did my skin care routine and put on some comfy clothes

I walked downstairs and Kairi just looked at me.

Elena: what? I said smiling

Kairi: n-nothing just looking...

Elena: at what?

Kairi: nothing

I sat next to him, like right next to him to the point where i was touching thighs with him.

Kairi: Elena can I tell you something?

Elena: yeah

Kairi: so when we met at playlist...i thought you were really pretty and I wanted to say I like yo-

Before he could finished I kissed him. He was shocked at first and he kissed back. He grabbed my waist and pulled me on his lap. His hands slowly travled to my thighs as he gripped them, me letting out a muffled moan. When were down kissing he pressed his forehead against mine.

Kairi: woah...

Elena: yup

Kairi: so?

Elena: idk, I guess I like you too

Before I kissed Kairi I always had a feeling he was kinda crushing on me, but i never knew the tables were gonna turn so quickly. I guess I did like Kairi. It felt right normal peaceful so my body approved, like really approved. I was still sitting on Kairi's lap until he moved me off, i didnt want to get off but I guess it was an awkward position and scene....
