Elena POV We got to the beach and Kairi carried Mateo out to the sand. I got all of the stuff and luckily it wasn't windy so we could have a picnic. I walked on the sand and laid everything out on the sand while Kairi and Mateo played on the sand. Mateo was chasing Kairi and I saw he hand fell. Kairi stopped running and turned around because Mateo was crying. Kairi picked up Mateo and walked in towards me.
Kairi: little man got hurt
Elena: awe thanks, whats wrong?
Mateo: I fell. He said crying
I checked his knees and he was alright. I sat him next to me poured water on his knees to get all the sand off, i handed him a strawberry and his frown became a smile when I handed it to him.
Elena: you like that huh?
Mateo: yes. He said laughing
Kairi: little man wanna go swim?
Mateo: yeah!
Elena: let me put on his floaties
I grabbed his floaties and put them on his arms. He was the cutest thing in the whole world

I looked at Kairi and Mateo and they were swimming in the water. I walked over to them and got in with them.

Mateo: mommy I saw a shark. He said smiling

I laughed and Kairi had a 'really' face on and I just was laughing.
Kairi: okay its not that funny
Elena: y-yes it was. I said still laughing

We went home around 6pm and it was getting dark. Me and Kairi were in the front seat of the car and Mateo was asleep in the back.
Kairi: you know Lexi?

Kairi: Mattia took her from me, that why we dont hang out anymore
